Everyone is raving about the episode (including me) but I want to discuss another aspect of the episode now - Aditya. I can't believe what I just saw. What side of him is being showcased? I can't deny that I saw a very strong streak of Brahmanand in him today. Manipulate women when you want something from them and then shove them aside when the purpose is fulfilled.

I refuse to believe any longer that he is simply an 'overgrown child' who acts upon his mood swings and impulses. He is turning out to be just as brash, arrogant, egoistic and chauvinistic as his father is. While I agree that he has put his foot down for the right cause, I simply cannot accept how he manipulated Priya into sleeping with him, and then switched back to the angry mode the next morning. She has been asking him to discuss things out with her over and over again, and was willing to do the same before he oh-so-passionately made love to her. She slept with him thinking that he had forgotten all about the fight and everything would be back to normal the next morning. How the smurf does this guy's head work? Have sex with your wife when you feel horny and then act like a jerk again? I call this being 'messed up'.

I have started to think that Priya is compromising upon her self-respect and dignity for the wrong person. How many times has Aditya got pissed off with her and then refused to listen to her until she acted the way he wanted her to? Has he ever tried to find out what is it that makes his wife so uncomfortable in his house? But the guy has such a rose-colored image of his 'parivaar' that he seems to find no fault anywhere at all!

I am just very very disappointed with the way his character is turning out. He was supposed to be Priya's strength, he is only making her life worse! Priya, if I were you, I would give him a good piece of my mind and tell him to stop acting like a 16-year old and get his act together. I can't remember the last Aditya actually behaved like an understanding, supportive husband. Completely sick and tired of his tantrums and brash behavior.

I agree here, the way Aditya is acting is selfish and immature esp now what he has done, he's hurted Priya more by this act, basically just used her and threw her to the side.. i couldnt believe what he was coming out with, if he had sense - he would of talked about it sensibly with her whatever their issue was

And what Priya said was right, loving someone and making love to someone there is a difference...

Thanks dear...i was going to make a topic on this myself...good job...yes i totally agree with you...Aditya and Priya are one of my fav pair on TV...i still dont hate either of them, even when they fight...

but today was just tooo much...i still remember, when Adi was getting married to Priya...he told her that he didnot care about her past and he will love her forever...but now he is making her feel the same way as bramhanand made her feel...used and thrown aside...and priya would be crumbling inside because now it is by someone she loves...

Absolutely . I hate Adi now...He never tries to understand her...His character is so badly written ...It is like his only emotion is to have sex with her ...SO Sad, but i have seen some people around who are like this ..their wife is only their ...😭

agree with u completly. and priya is right that loving someone and making love with someone are 2 different things. aditya needs to control his attitude and anger. i also dont get why he says that due to problems between them love doesnt sacrifise. i have neer seen this before

I knew this was going to happen, the issues btwn them were not solved and then this happened. Aditya really needs to grow up he's this over grown child and the way he behaved with priya was so wrong especially considering her past and how she was treated. I think till he finds out the entire truth about his dad he will not get how wrong he has been and even then I think it will take him time to come to terms with the truth. I can actually see him being in denial and even blaming priya fro not telling him the truth. He's been babied by his dad for too long and really needs to grow up and think before doing things.

great post! I too hated Adi...wth...he really is this overgrown kid. He was rude and abnoxious...i wanted to hit him over the head with something to knock some sense into him. He is his father's son, after the truth comes out, he still would refuse to believe it. Create more ruckus, blaming Priya to his Mom! I was disgusted with him, it will take me a while to get over this. I Gaurav was amazing today...loved the way he answered back to his dad. Kudoos to the actor!

Agree that sex shouldn't be used to resolve any issues and one should talk them out. Isn't that exactly Aditya ask Priya in the episode where she was supposed to meet him for lunch and didn't turn up. He clearly told her he will only pursue any convo with her only after she can explain the following things:
1) why she disappeared from the house after their wedding
2) Why she told Brahma about finding her molester when she herslef didn't want him to share that info with his dad
3) why she left her parents anniversary party wwithout informing him
4) why she wanted to move out of the house in the morning
5) why is that she begged him to meet her immediately during his work time and didn't turn up herself.

BUT did Priya answer any of his doubts. NO. He was keeping his distance from her as he was angry with her. He avioded her at any cost till she answered her questions.

Now Priya doesn't want to answer the questions but wants to be re-assured that he still loves her so tries to start convos on number of occasions rather than answering his questions. when she realises he is not going to get convinced with the patronising convos so she starts flirting with him the party. sends him signals and starts the seduction act. infact she did say in the party episode 'how long are u going to stay away from me'. I am not saying he is not attracted to his wife but as he was angry with her he didn't intiate the act of seduction. He could not control is passion so gave in the seduction act.

I see it as Priya trying to use her beauty and sex to resolve the fight and Aditya just giving into the moment.I would have thgt Aditya using sex to resolve the problem 'If Priya was upset with Aditya and then him seducing her to calm her down'. Then Aditya would be a creep manipulating his wife. IMO unfortunately its Priya who is being smart trying to avoid her actual marital problems by seducing her hubby rather than choosing to answer his questions😕.

I am not contesting that Priya didn't try to talk to him before the party but how many times was she ready to answer the questions posed to him. When two adults talk one has to treat the other like an adult not like a child. Priya thinks that sweet talking to her husband and not answering the questions that is eating her husband is the way to resolve her marital problems. They have issues in their marraige because she has been hiding the truth from her husband and Aditya is aware of it and its eating him up as he thinks his wife doesn't trust him to share her problems with him. I do understand Priya has a difficult task in her hand as the truth might even destroy Aditya but she have to face it. The more she avoids it the more it will destroy her marriage.

She did give an explanation for that, remember she said she saw the police officers uniform and her past came back to haunt her.

She should have taken Aditya with her, he would have seen it all with his own eyes.

But still if Aditya was angry with her, he shouldnt have slept with her. He knows about her past and this could take her back.
When Aditya said he couldnt control his feelings, Priya asked him how can he say that. Meaning he has controlled himself in the past when she wasnt ready, he could have done the same now. And in Priyas defense she did say she wanted to talk to him before they went further but Aditya stopped her.
IMO if Aditya wasnt ready to talk to her until she was ready to tell him the truth he shouldnt have made love to her.
