@silvermoonlight...Hiya...loved reading your point of view...esp. since you see it differently. I do agree that Uttara is manipulated by the picture that Brahma has painted for her which when combined with the overwhelming sense of gratitude she feels for his "help" makes her vulnerable. But...this is still the sister who, for all intents and purposes, is the only family she has. Given that, I find it hard to accept that anything can trump that bond. But...the SSP's character is nothing if not charming in an evil way. Coming to Devyani...I sympathize with her life immensely and feel like her character is the one most drawn from real life. The psyche of verbal abuse victims are some of the hardest to understand rendering their actions mostly inexplicable.
