So...the writers are going down the path of Uttara falling in love with Brahma. In my humble opinion, it destroys the character consistency that the writers did a terrific job of building up over the course of this show. Even more basic than that...it destroys the basis of the show itself.

But...that's just me. 😆

Uttara's character is going to drains. How can she forget her past when she was asked by her husband to romance with his friend? How she reacted and opposed to become a keep for that ruthless person? How she ended up killing him? Is she so blind that she is going to start an affair with a married man with grown children and have his DILS? How could she forget the trauma her daughter faced after her father's death how can she forget her hatred towards her mother?
I think that this is a temporary phase when her harmones are playing havoc and uttara will regain her senses and either leave Brahma's house permanently or end up her life which is worthless.

No, why can't the writers come up with something else. It disgusting falling for your sister's husband. Uttra lost all respect. she was nice at the beginning why did they have to spoil that.

I think they are trying to show that a single woman is vulnerable from within and outside... which is ok I guess but she is shown to be giving into the temptation by being dumb to believe Brahma vilifying Devyani whom she knows closely and has shared life's tender moments with.
To justify her actions with the belief that Devyani has wronged Brahma weakens her character more.

Exactly. I can completely understand an attractive single woman like Uttara who has likely never lacked for male attention falling in love again. I would have even understood her caring for Brahma had she never been close to Devyani. But given the bond between the sisters and how smart she has been shown prior to this, the current track is inconsistent and weak!

@ the spoiler alert... I guess that was coming...Brahma is unstoppable and will say anything to get in bed with Uttara..

@Basanti...I wouldn't say she is falling in love... At this juncture I see UT and BR to be of the same nature... only she had to be compelled by B while B always expressed his intentions unequivocally with regards to UT ..
Coming form abusive marriage herself, UT might have viewed Devyani to have a perfect marriage and family...which is why she may be attracted to BR in the first place... case of haves and have-nots...

It is just so disgusting to watch. I hate Brahma like I hate a few fictional characters. When he was going to a holiday, I felt relieved about not having to see his face for a few weeks.

I do not think it is OOC for Uttara, though. Not right now, at least. She killed her husband. She gotta be suffering from some massive PTSD. These things don't go away. Uttara is not a vulnerable woman fundamentally but she is in a weak state right now. But it is super gross to watch.
This is an Indian soap though. I wouldn't be surprised if they completely mess her character up and make this sl 'pati, patni or woh' kind of crap.

I think the only character that has been destroyed beyond repair for me is Priya's character.
