Jaya, why didn't you like the episode?? I thought it was nice.. not brilliant but not bad either. I'm curious to know what you did not like though. 😊

Priya and her dad scenes, Aditya-Gaurav bond, Priya and her bro scenes- Quite realistic!!! Even Uttara- Aditya bonding for that matter.I could relate to Priya and her bro convo! Even my brother wants to know everything like him! 😡😆

About the kiss- Priya's reluctance was quite justifiable! Aditya is always seen forcing himself upon her and with the past that she has, I liked the way she expected him to first understand her well, and develop emotional bond before taking a step ahead with anything related to physical intimacy.

Loved Gaurav and Priya's brother's perspective about the kiss, though. 😃 Vidya blushing on hearing Gaurav become the 'love guru' was cute. 😳

I like the way the writers bring the simplistic and realistic touch in the show. The continuation from the prev epi, giving detailing to every character- Priya's dad, Uttara and Devyani convo - with the flashback of Bauji's words on Priya being a today's woman who cannot be tamed like Vidya.. thats quite impressive. 👍🏼

Nothing happened much but I wont call it a filler episode. A progression in the character development.

I don't post my random musings most often...cos most of them are boring😆....but yesterday the whole Aditya pressing Priya for a kiss really made me want to write something....i think the whole kiss thing was handled extremely well by the creativities. It's a problem almost all couples go through...especially and usually guys get interested in the physical aspect of any relationship and it's natural...but girls are more emotional beings (usually) and want emotional closeness before they can commit to anything like that....

This leads to guys getting frustrated and accusing that the girl doesn't love him or saying it's no big deal...The girl wondering if that's all the guy wants from her....I think all that was portrayed really clearly in the show...with Priya's added burden of her past added to the mix....the whole thing was done really well.....and how the brother's of the couple reacted to it...and their advice...it was so natural and the acting by everyone was superb....i'm really proud of the show👏

@Yash...🤗good to have you back! Catch up on the episodes you missed my friend...there were some awesome ones last week...brilliant!

@Shreya...hope to do a detailed take. I loved certain scenes...the Aditya - Priya one and all the sibling conversations (Uttara/Devyani, Chinu/Priya and Rishabh/Aditya)! The Priya - Mr. Pradhan conversation also slightly made up for the lack of the bridge scene in Monday's episode...but not completely!

What really did not work for me was the acting in certain scenes. Nivin (Chinu) is very raw as an actor...he made the simple conversation he had with Priya...one that I actually liked feel over the top because of his acting. Ridhi was good in parts and not so in others. I also did not like Mr. Pradhan suddenly being able to afford a lavish wedding. Nothing so far has suggested that they can match the Jhaakars in terms of extravagance. I was so hoping they would show some of that marriage planning tension that so many middle class Indians face. To me it feels like the writers compromised and suddenly added this to the screenplay so they can show the grand Indian wedding tamasha that has been made famous in movies and serials since time immemorial...maybe for TRPs. Lastly...that scene with the wedding planner in the Jhaakar house felt over-the top.

All said and done, I will say an above average episode of Maryaada far exceeds the excellent episodes of other shows...such as another one we both watch. I guess my expectations from this writing team is just sky high...😆

@Priya...agree with you about the Priya/Aditya scene. Very well done...I loved it. Ridhi even acted well for most part. Maybe it was the editing...but her expressions in some of the transitions in that scene were ok. Come back and share your views...no matter how boring you think it is. 😊

Oh Jaya, loved the way you put it. 😊 I agree with you.. Priya's father suddenly being able to afford was surprising but I did not give much attention to it.. and ya, Cheenu was OTT in between. True, you know Jaya, nowadays I'm liking Maryada more than the other show!😊 Shocking cuz I believed no show was upto the standards but I'm really liking the realistic appeal they are trying to show in Maryada. Lots of things to observe and except for the Adiya track, other tracks running in parallel are shown very well.

Like today's Aditya-Devyani convo! How he feels his mom is easy to understand and complex to understand his love! I liked their dialogues there. Devyani's admittance that her relationship with SSP has no room for understanding and how she sees the same in other relationships which is not true if we go to see.. all couples in Maryada have understanding as the main problem. Rishabh gives his wife money, breaching away her trust, whilst Gaurav needs time to reveal about his affair to his wife, Aditya is having a high time in understanding Priya's reluctance on physical intimacy.

And I hate Rishabh! Instead of feeling sorry and guilty for giving up, he sleeps with Uttara thinking his last time perhaps! 😳 I mean what the hell?! He gave his partnership to Rastogi, too??

Vidya singing was ho-hum! Considering that she is naive, why did they want to project her someone as gullible??

What I'm liking is that equal footage is given to everyone so things wont get boring later on. I dont like the footage given to Imli, though.

Aditya- Priya scene at the end was cute and okay.. I'd prefer them in private more. Well..

Okay episode. Not a must watch..

😛 this week's episodes were awesome, yesterday was better than today's and Mondays.

i just hate imli, why is she even bothered abt the other's love life!!😡😡 she has a problem with Priya because she is 'j' till now she believed her hubby is the only insane lover alive!!!🤡

When V has a frnd in G then y is she after that imli girl!??😵 she just get's on my nerves!!!

i will write down my take 2morrow, it's 2:14 am, i need to sleep😉
