I'm actually rooting for raghav and ambi as per the original script. He is a more complex character, and yes i think it's a sincere suicide attempt.

Vinita, and in fact all characters are selfish in the show including the leads, they have their priorities and makes them looks selfish. Vinita and mama just wants jaidev to marry ashu. As per the original, vinita is shown just gossiping and being harsh but never plots to humiliate them.

You mentioned about assault, but I have another issue here. Ambi looks like a two-timer who is giving hope to two guys, and at the same time lying (hiding) to her brother. More than sekhar or raghav, she is more selfish, manipulative and being unfair to all.

Ambika went from callous two-timer to perverted busybody when she challenged Ashvini to find fault with Jayadev. I mean, Ashvini just said that she has always thought of Jayadev as her elder brother! (Never mind that scene of her trying to put haḷadī on him, which was just a setup for an accident with Vidya.) Ambika demands to know if some outsider is closer to Ashvini than her Aṇṇā-Dādā! Well, Jayadev is too close, that's the point!

A character trying to escape incestuous marriage and being browbeaten for it - that's dialogue that I never felt the need to hear, and I hope I never hear again!

Jayadev's apathy regarding Vidya and Ashvini isn't what we expect from the male lead of a daily drama, but it's possible in real life that a man isn't emotionally invested in a suitable woman or a relationship. Throughout the scenes of Jayadev rescuing Vidya or spending time with her, and the accidents that foreshadow their marriage, his body language hasn't conveyed any physical attraction. Maybe he really only admires her professionally!

We've been told that Jayadev has put off his own marriage until Ambika will be married. And he feels obligation to Vishvanath. If Jayadev has feelings for Vidya, he may want to deny it because he doesn't give himself permission to feel that way. He told Vidya about his engagement to Ashvini when there was no need to tell anyone. And then he shared Ashvini's secret with Vidya, as if to share his relief! I think we're supposed to infer his subconscious motivation.

मी last year lockdown मधे घरी असतांना, ही सिरीयल पहायचे.

तेव्हा पासून या अंबि- राघव/ अंबि-शेखर च लग्न होतंय...

अजून झाला नाही

आणि no offence, पण यातले सगळे actors दिसायला अगदी नग आहेत.

काय तो जयदेव, त्याच्या नाकपुड्या त्या abhidnya भावे सारख्या मोठ्या आहेत, ती आशु, काय तिचा तो उभट चेहरा, आणि अंबि बद्दल तर बोलायलाच नको. काय बघून घेतली आहे तिला? इतकी बुटकी आणि चप्पट चेहऱ्याची आहे..lead character अशी असते का?

Sun वाहिनी च्या almost सगळ्या serials मधले actors हे कुठून शोधून आणलेत या लोकांनी?

त्या 'सुंदरी' सिरीयल मध्ये सुद्धा त्या आशय कुलकर्णी ला बदलुन दुसरा अगदी बालिश/बुळ्या हिरो आणलाय. त्याचे तोंड कायम उघड असतं. अजिबातacting जमत नाही त्याला.

But I do agree with you that this show story is stuck; I also noted actors don’t have chemistry but if you have seen JzYp, ashok & rohit (raghav) were extremely good. At the end of the day, script matters, that’s what I learn from this.

अंबि च पात्र मला अजिबात आवडत नाही.

तीच नीट ठरतच नाहीये कोणाशी लग्न करायचं ते.

आम्हाला कळलं की अण्णा दादा आणि अंबु मध्ये खूप म्हणजे खूपच प्रेम आहे.
