But never even once she wondered why a guy who molested a girl in the market for petty reason, didn't ever take advantage of her when they were alone in the room.... A lusty pervert rapist could've done anything..right ? If she assumed that his family's presence is keeping him in check then what about the times when they were outside, enroute to Pune or such occasions.... She never paused her hatred to think logically at alll.....

She is awfully comfortable asking her sis-in-law about her first night. Plus that stupid bet thing was so OTT. I wonder if she really has nothing else to do?!?! It's getting on my nerves too.. It's ridonculous the way their first night was the whole family's business. And Shiva and Siddhi kissing and hugging in front of every body and their dog. But funnier still, was when Kaki closed her teen ager son's eyes after they saw Shiva hugging Siddhi. And that's after she and Soni sic'ed him on them earlier in the kitchen.. Oy vey!!

I know this is not a thread for other serials. But I could not find one related to Raja Rani Chi Jodi. Hence I am posting here, because I have to get it off my chest :(

Does it bother anybody that h there is an underage? Their marriage is WELL consummated and she is not even 18. H is a cop and it's gonna be a major cause of friction. That IS the story line of course.

But for the love of GOD, she is 17. I have stopped watching that one because of this issue. It just creeps me out...

I could not agree more. Both deeds are equally serious. However in my view kidnapping a girl is tantamount to r**e itself, at least in our society. It does not matter if she returns home in the same state as before. In society's eyes she is "ruined". What's more, people then question the character of victim. However disturbingly messed up that is, it's still a truth. On top of that this story takes place in a small town, doesn't it? In such a small town, social rules (?) are more closely watched and enforced on women. In a bigger city, equations are slightly different. Shiva's friends rejoice after he is released from jail. There is a dhol playing in the background, firecrackers lit, if I recall it correctly. And he is shown to be politically influential, much loved and respected man in the town. His arrest would not cause the same effect on the society as Siddhi's kidnapping. Him kidnapping her was more serious and would have caused far worse repercussions on her life.

Secondly, I think Siddhi saw Shiva holding that girl's duppatta. She saw the girl crying and kneeling in front of him. She jumped to the conclusion, wrong as it was. Siddhi is shown to be slightly self righteous. I believe she has this bias, a holier than thou attitude towards less educated Shiva. And she is judgemental too, on top of it all. It does not justify her accusing him of such an heinous crime. But I think that would be the reason. To be fair, I did not watch it all from the beginning. I watched all the episodes after the fact on YouTube. And with Color's silly muting of the videos, it's quite easy to miss things. I might have mistaken here.

Again.. spot on. As I said, she is judgemental and biased. She sees only what she wants to see.

To me it was funny, when she was attracted to him previously. She was all hot and bothered and when he spurned her, she epitomized "a woman spurned" :P But at least that was an honest reaction :D

Initially he was not the hero that they showed him to be post surmaari...... Yes, he was referred to, as Robinhood by the police officer after he got arrested for the molesting..... But after he came out, people started taunting him.... calling him names etc.... Actually that prompted him to kidnap her..... So in a way, he also lost his izzat hence I look at it equally.......

What is wrong with Sonal? Is she jealous or what? And more than that what is wrong with Siddhi? She sided with Sonal in spite of Shiva making it clear that he wanted to spend time with her..That's not teasing.. That's being a tease and not in the good way :O *SMH*

Yeah, sonal should be kicked out of the show or get laid.

She seems jealous.

Shiva trying to apologize to Siddhi was so endearing! He bought her a watermelon.. very pragmatic...LMAO..Episode was cutsie..

But frankly why did he have to apologize to her, kind of escaped me. He hurt his Ba not Siddhi. Why was she all huffy? meh.. If she was angry on behalf of her father-in-law then it was not mentioned again in the entire episode beyond initial scene. Now something should happen due to which she would need to apologize to Shiva.. Fair's fair.

Episode was made cute by Shiva's fumbling i.e. Ashok's acting. The way he mumbles, backtracks, shows anger, becomes romantic, etc seems organic (except his reaction on Siddhi's makeover. It was OTT and cheesy. Her makeover was not that great for crying out loud 😕 Straight hair suited her better in my opinion than these beachy waves ). I laughed hard at the way he hesitated to sit on the bed after Siddhi went to sleep. He is good!

Vidula is nice too. But she needs to present a different Siddhi now when she quarrels with her husband. Her anger with him now falls in a different category. It's a wife's displeasure with husband and not the hatred. "Mazya navryala kahi kalat nahi" types displeasure. But Vidula's Siddhi still talks in the same pitch, tone, frequency, with same facial expressions, same flared nostrils and same finger pointing (literally) as she did when they were at odds. Considering her lack of experience in the industry, it's understandable. I am sure she will learn. She is doing a better job than most other new comers. It's a director's job too btw. He needs to catch on that and correct her.

PS - Oi and what if one of them had accidentally swallowed that hidden ring? And who eats those many green chilies?!?!? Are you nuts?? 😃
