Hands down we can writr a better script than this, that too for free
I mean a father who had told his daughter clearly that she should wait for her raajkumaar to arrive is behaving like this
Instead of creating such a big scene, couldn't they show him talking to her calmly???
Couldn't they strike a mature and decent conversation than what they have actually shown??
How much does it take for a father to sit with his daughter and ask her if she's actually in love with this man or it's just her infatuation??
How long does it take for a father to warn her that she might have taken Vikrant's over caring nature for love and is just misunderstanding viks intentions??
Was it necessary to show him accusing viks and inturn his own daughter??
Was it needed for him to be so lively and scare the hell out of Isha???
Was it needed for him to make viks stand out in the corridors for an entire night???
Why is a father portrayed so badly???
This is what I was thinking too, we have seen how much he loves his daughter, he could've just asked her, "Isha is something bothering you? I have seen you have changed a lot lately, is there anything that you want to share with us? Please remember no matter what we love you a lot and you can tell us anything that is bothering you". I mean something like this 'd have started their dialogue.
Then after knowing the truth, He could just say, "I respect your feelings but this is really shocking and hard for us to digest that you are in love with a guy who is 20 years older to you. How can you live life with a man who is so much older than you? do you think its love? or its just an infatuation? Do you think you both are compatible? etc. and then all the things, age- gap talk, problems they can face, his fear, Loklajja, etc etc.
and after their conversation/s they could show "I do not accept this relationship, I really need time to think about it", and then Isha saying "baba, we both love each other dearly, and I can not live my life without him now, so if I ever get married, it's him or no-noone else, I respect and love you both immensely and I can not get married without you both by my side so I will wait for your approval" after their conversation, him talking with Vikrant and then after seeing how much Vikrant loves their daughter, slowly accepting their relationship.
This could ve been prefect fitting to their characters, father daughter talking maturely about this serious subject. This is what happens in real life, not the kind of nonsense they are showing now. How hard it is to have a conversations like these? Why do we need drama and negativity nonsense?😕
