Bees saal baad was based on a bengali hit jighansa (as per wiki) which was loosely based on Hound of Baskervilles. The plots may be slightly different (at the end) where in BSB it is revenge for daughter's rape and in HOTB it is to grab the Baskerville property. But the atmosphere of suspense created is similar. In both, the "hero" comes to takeover ancestral property which is supposed to be haunted.

And yes RPRRR42, Kahi Deep Jale was judged the best song of that year in Filmfare awards.

in HOTB hero is sherlock Holmes who goes to Baskervilles to investigate the case. His interest wasn't in a property.

Does anybody remember rishi kapoor's khoj in which he himself had killed his wife as i think she had cheated him ,i dont recollect exact story,bt he kept d dead body as it is as he loved her so much and he is shown to be psychic.bt d way rishhi kapoor acted ,hats off to him.movie didnt do well at d box office .coming back to this serial,i think subodh bhave has to given that little bit psychic disorder instead of jaideep and then when he comes to know that isha may reaveal d truth ,what would b his act.very very interesting to see subodh in such tyoe of role.not exactly psycho,loves isha ,bt now in that dilema.all these shades ,i will love to see from subodh.

In HOTB Sir Henry Baskerville should be called the hero ( Holmes is the detective so I didn't call him the "hero" ) who has come to claim the haunted Baskerville inheritance just as Biswajit in BSB.

Neither Rebecca , Kohra , Bees saal baad were horror movies. They were suspence thrillers. Like woh kau thi etc. But , in Hindi movies , the directors have picked a bad habit of showing horrific scenes with no explaination whatsoever of them . 😊 They are just for effect !
True horror movies are of Ramsey brother variety!

Coming back to TPR , there are lot of elements of suspence so far - regarding the history of Saranjame family. so the serial does have elements of thriller .It unfortunatly depends on CVs whether the horror is provided by the actions of the characters or by the actions of the producers 😊

On a lighter note - considering the quick rise Eshaa is getting in the company , another joke from CHYD team applies- Insted of hard work , It is easier to be the owner of 2000 Crore company by falling in the love with the owner.!

tyachi bayko che affair aste . rishi kapoor che naav tya movie madhe ravi ase aste. rekha pan ahe ka tya movie madhe. mala ata star cast neet athavat nahi.

Khoj movie is based on a Marathi drama ( or it may be vice-versa ) . The drama is on youtube & has Aishvrya & avinash Narkar & Pradip Kabre . forgot the name of drama. It is much better that the movie

yes I had seen it on TV. Rishi, Kimi katkar, naseer, Danny. It was copy of famous Hollywood movie "chase a crooked shadow". I think Subodh has done much better roles than this already and even Rishi has done far better than that. I'd rate his Chandni and Karz as best performances.
