Hello guys, I m back from vacation... couldn't catch all the episodes...but now i will watch

Very good to hear that Amma has finally reformed. CVs heading towards the end, leaving all of us missing Rishali...

Nisha sudharnaar ki nahi is the big question...let's c...as of now it's buaji phupha turn...watched again the epi just to hear MJ and SG ...lovely dialogs...when SJ spoke how she could not express openly her feelings for gauri I felt a lump in my throat...mothers they r...wish they could express openly...how realistic

Happy to note that Rama and Kusumlata refuse to come back and they do it with great dignity. Rama not even ready to forgive Chacha. And the biggest slap was when Kusumlata hands over the keys to Amma and says without emotion that, this is what you wanted all your life, so you can have it. The feeling I got is this is the last we will see of Chacha and family (may be till the last episode). An unexpected twist by the CV's!

With Phupha and Gomti in full nautanki, Amma is now highly protective of Gauri and willing to pay off the duo to prevent any problem between Dadi and Gauri but Gauri suspicious that Amma is hiding it from her.

Precap is quite interesting. Shiv tense as probably Amma and Gauri are both missing ( gone to settle Phupha) and Dadi and others are worried.

More than today's episode I am interested to know what will happen tomorrow, Amma and Gauri both going diff ways to phupha and gomti...loved what babuji said dono ke Mann an ek hai...wo unki akkal thikane lekar aayenge...wow

With Chacha and family refusing to get manoed to stay in Shukl house (against the standard serial pattern), I am hopeful that CV's will surprise us by ensuring that Phupha-Gomti and Nisha stay ostracized and don't get forgiven.

After Amma's turnaround the KDP team seems to be back in it's groove i.e. subtle drama.

The way this Chacha Kusumlata track has been handled is so refreshing. Contrary to our expectation that Kusumlata would eagerly come back into the Shukl house was given a twist by the CVs. Kusumlata and Rama come to meet the Shukl parivar only in deference to Shiv's request. Yesterday in the convo between Rama, Ram and Shauri, Rama candidly admits she has great respect for her cousins as she has heard good about them from her mother but then she also says she is never going to forgive her father for abandoning her mother when she needed him most.Reading between the the lines you could sense that Kusumlata has forgiven Chacha and probably expects Rama also to forgive him.

Then that drama where Chacha and family are leaving the house was brilliant. No rona dhona or OTT drama. Dadi inconsolable but still not resorting to OTT dialogues and accepting their decision. Rama accepting the necklace from Dadi without any shrill accusations or drama. She was firm but so dignified. Then that masterstroke where the emotionless looking Kusumlata pours out her bitterness of 25 years in just one gesture and a one line dialogue. Kusumlata hands over the family treasury keys to Amma and says "this is what you had always aspired for and now you can have it".

And importantly, Chacha who we have always considered as a hero was convincingly shown as a villain by Rama and we tended to agree with her.

Just as we discuss in another thread how women are treated like doormats, here they have shown two determined women who are firm about their views and the man in their family follows them meekly as he knows that he has let them down.
