As I have said earlier. Entire Shukla khandaan except Bauji and Shiv live in the 17th century.
I am sure girls wear all kinds of clothes in Benaras also. And even saree-wearing aunties change into trousers, track pants or salwar kurtas when going in snow. They are going on a glacier for God's sake. It is not like she was wearing a bikini and sunning herself by some pool.

This is when I get irritated with Bauji. He seems to be sensible and it is up to him to sit with his mother and explain why jeans and jackets were necessary. She will understand as she is a sensible woman. She has never gone out of Benaras and did not even know where Switzerland was. But when told about the situation, she will understand.

There is no point in explaining anything to Amma as she is extremely egoistic, selfish, wicked and evil. She is so caught up in her meanness that she does not even see that she is hurting her son whom she 'claims' to love. I deliberately use the word 'claim' as no action of hers towards Shiv has been selfless. It has always been- hum humein nahi bataya, hume nahi poocha.

She loves only herself and definitely not this parivar because she is the one who spoils atmosphere most often.

Only something drastic will open her eyes.

@Kamalsh your optimistic lookout is great but really evil people need a shock and then they MAY change. Others goodness rarely changes them. They will change ONLY if something happens to them.

If shiv in the mood of anger decides to leave the house it will be very very fatal for his & Gauri's relationship as amma will get a chance to prove that Gauri like her vahini Nisha is the root cause of breakng up of shukl parivar which till date has not happened in their family. And then from there onwards everyone in the family can go against her. It will be definitely the win of amma. Because she is in total rebellious mood after getting humiliated even by her husband that too in front of shiv gauri. She is in for a big dhamaka. So just be hopeful that Gauri as usual able to pacifies shiv. We still want sweet goody goody exchanges between shiv-Gaur...no.misunderstandings so soon.

You are right neelaw. Definitely if Shiv will decide to leave the house it will be Amma's win. Basically sometimes you should understand what kind of person you are dealing with & firstly accept him as he is. Shiv is hurt because he never knew the real face of his mother. But now he is getting that idea by some incidents like yesterday. So he is bursting with anger & hurt.
On the other hand Gouri knows what kind of person Amma is. So from the day one her strategy is very clear. She doesn't argues & satisfies her ego. But when it comes to Shiv it doesn't happen. So now she should tell her Shiv her nature without hurting him & both should deal with her strategically.
They can also take help of Dadi and yes she needs a shock where she is losing everyone tabhi uski akal thikane ayegi.
