Amma ki vajah se... ab Gauri can't go to Shiv, freely ( as in precap)... N has to hide the reason from Shiv n others also!! While, similarly Shiv has to start the sawant rescue operation from behind the scenes!! Can't let Gauri know the problem... Aur Nisha hai hi... Dono par nazar rakhne ke liye!!
Baba, appa ko Milne wale hai... How Shiv helps him or gets going with venu is to b seen!!

I think Shiv already knows this- didn't Amma tell him before he was leaving Benaras?

Now Nisha's mother is packing money in the pillow cover and going outstation. So, how will Baba get his money back?

Also, considering Baba's caustic attitude towards Shiv, it seems bit unlikely that they both will come together and solve the house issue. Then how will Shiv end this chapter? Who will help him... Aaji or Venu? Or he alone will take charge of this?

Curiosity is piquing with time!!!

That scene was beautifully captured. First Gauri smiles to herself when she hears Shiv's voice thinking it is some hallucination or something and then when he again tells he has actually come, she slowly turns her head and her smile turns ecstatic and she almost rushes to the door before controlling herself from rushing into his arms (because Venu is next to him and everyone else is watching). Then the looks that they exchange! Pure, low key romance!

N Shiv, though hurt (shown nicely by Rishi) trying to cover up!!

I think one of the highlights of the terrace scene (other than that sublime hug ) was Shiv consoling Gauri that Baba's behavior is alright and understandable even as his eyes and expression showed how pained he was at Baba's behavior. Some really beautiful acting by Rishi.

I have a feeling that Nisha's father may play an important part in this. Maybe he is disgusted with the money minded mother daughter pair and so staying away in the village. Possibly he may discover the cash and play a part in returning the amount and solving the issue. Just guessing.

perfect Kamal, I feel the same 👍🏼

Very cute episode! Every action / reaction / emotion is well acted. Even I felt, ye Amma akhir chahati kya hai... Amma is misunderstanding Sawants from day one. She still feels that paise ke liye mere munna ko phasaya. But she alone, even with Nisha's help can't do anything, as everybody other is supportive to Shauri.

The serial is perfectly balanced- One sarcastic in-law in each house. Of course, Baba is better than Amma. Amalgamation of two cultures is not at all easy, aag ka dariya abhi bhi hai, but good thing is Shauri is together.

Though I don't at all support Amma's behavior towards Gauri, we must appreciate some of Amma's apprehensions. From the time Shiv gave a loan to the Sawant's, Amma's mind has been made up that the Sawant's have hitched Gauri to Shiv because of his money. Nothing very unnatural about such a thing. In real life too society does talk of a poor girl hitching on to a rich boy or a poor boy hitching on to a rich girl. This is Amma's mental block and she is going to great lengths to break up the marriage (fearing that Sawant's will be a regular drain on their money). So, though we may hate her behavior, she still could be behaving logically. Similarly Nisha has only two motives in life, denigrating Baba (and whoever insults her) and making money by whatever means. These two are shown a bit larger than life vamps but the reasons they are behaving like that is quite logical (as per their own warped logic) IMO.

u r right Kamal. Both vamps behaves with some motive / mis-understanding, which is completely logical. such people do exist in real life also. good thing is that, they are still in limit.

we like to watch positivity, so we hate them. but in real life too, negativity is more powerful than positivity and we have to manage that. Serial is very well balanced.
