I thought they missed opportunities to heighten the romantic scenes today. When Shiv comes to Gauri's house, it would have been so nice to see both eager to stand close to each other or stare without restraint at each other. After all they had full sanction in Sawant household didn't they?
Then outside the room when Shiv puts the bangles there was such restraint. Why? They were alone weren't they?
Then when they are leaving, Gauri is left standing dejectedly after Amma's snub and no effort by Shiv to cheer her up. When he reaches the taxi he is more worried about opening the door of the taxi for Amma. And then just one glance at the forlorn looking Gauri before he enters the taxi and drives off. What stopped him from coming back to Gauri and assuring her that all will be OK before entering the taxi? It looked as if he was just going to office or something.

Hey, is it around the time that Rishi had viral fever? Maybe that is the reason he looked down. And maybe he may "disappear" in Benaras for a few days and we will have to put up with Nisha nautanki till then. 😡

No Suruchi I do not agree with you. Expressing through eyes, going towards the person, holding hands is an extremely natural way of expressing one's love. It's a reflex action that does not need thinking. Anyway hopefully we will see change once the recovered Rishi episodes are telecast. Also maybe they substituted the older bro. and his wife ( two actors ) with the sister as a cost cutting tool.

Ammma to Nisha

The only scene I found surprising was gauri remembering bangles and asking shiv to make her wear them

I did not expect even that from her

It was a pleasant surprise

It is funny that despite everything nisha is still roaming freely

Dadiji will accept

But with condition that they will have to stay in banaras

And gauri can't work

I have a feeling the cvs are saving the romance for later, maybe they have it all planned (like they have had everything so well planned so far), so it has a bigger impact. Just like how many of us were finding it unreasonable when Gauri was not explaining anything to baba or when she was shown to be happy about her alliance with Akshat and wasnt showing her true feelings, but it was all well planned by the cvs for a better impact later; i have a feeling this too is for a reason.
Otherwise the romance and the chemistry between Shiv and Gauri is crackling as we have already seen in the past.

Just hope the cvs dont wait too long and show us the romantic bits we have been yearning for soon. Because the romance between the lead couple is truly the big draw of this show i feel.
Having said that, they did miss opportunities of subtle romance and their first meeting after the whole stress and pain did feel a bit thanda.
But i am sure the romance will be back and how.
