Okay, saw the episode just now. The Shauri scene was nice but could have been better. felt so abrupt. The lovers are meeting after so long. Couldn't it have been more intimate?? I wanted Shiv to take Gauri up the Katta ; I wanted both of them to break down in each others arms. Gauri has gone through so much stress; I wanted her to be emotional in Shiv's arms...was a little disappointed.😭

Agree Rutuja.. Shauri dissapointed me today. There was zero happiness/ passion / romance / excitement nothing in their looks or body language ! I think two decades ago when my alliance got an OK from both sides, even without the drama leading upto the event! We had more of the above than this pair ... They portray sorrow very well. But make the audience wait till eternity for Romance !

It appeared to be a bit of a letdown today after the super episode yesterday. With the Sawants in a very jolly mood, the mood in Shukla parivar was very somber. Shiv was keen to be with Gauri. Gauri still hesitant as she knows that Amma is still furious with her. She tried to break the ice at the end but received a royal snub. I winder what she is supposed to do now other than waiting for Shiv to get her accepted. If she tries to get close to Shiv now she is likely to be targeted after marriage.
It now seems to be a waiting game. At the most we can expect some phomance but that too is going to be poisoned by that witch Nisha. Kalat nahi ankhin kiti divas heh "judaii" theme chalnar ahe 😭

The highlight of this show is the chemistry and romance and really the CV's disappointed me. I know the makers are the same of JYRG.. and they showed so much romance on that show..Hope they do in this one...post marriage...

I agree Rujuta, but maybe Gauri felt the need to be circumspect given that Amma and Bauji hadn't given their assent yet. And if they say they're meeting each other in front of their parents, well let's just say everyone knows why they'd be meeting (😳) and there might be some old fashioned folks in both families being uncomfortable with the idea of open romance.

Why did Shiv tell Aai-Baba-Aajee that Amma had agreed and only Dadi was left? Theoretically it is right (because Amma will toe Dadi's line), but practically it would give Aai-Baba false hope that both sets of parents had now assented to Shauri.

Also learnt today that Shiv has a sister too. How many children do the Shuklas have then? (3 and counting so far)

Very cruel of Ammaji in the last scene, but does look like they are setting the tone for Gauri having to become Amma's choice in the true sense after marriage (like Shiv had to be for Baba).

Dadi will probably say yes, or maybe insist that she must see the girl first. That would explain Aai and Gauri travelling to Benares too.

Other notable thing is Baba thinking Shauri will be in Mumbai after marriage. I'd want that too, atleast for the first few months (to learn and become each other's strength before they step into the Benaras cauldron), but think the CV's have different ideas.

CV's, please please give some decent Shauri scenes pre marriage 😉. Today's scene was decent (some nice stuff with Gauri remembering the bangles), but both Rishi and Sayali (Rishi especially) looked as if they'd just woken up and gone straight to the sets- the sleepiness was clearly visible.

Yes. Even I feel that they could have shown a special emotional scene between Shouri. After all getting permission from Baba was a big achievement for them. But I couldn't see the happiness on their face.
& Shiv was about to go when Gouri stopped him.
Now I think the focus will shift to Banaras where Shiv has a big family. Hope the serial do not turn into a Hindi serial ( big sets, goddy sarees, heavy jwellery). Hope they keep the essence of the serial. & mostly the romance. So from tomorrow we will have a Banaras Darshan. Waiting for tomorrow.

I think diwali take sab fit ho jaega . and after diwali they will show marriage.

I guess I wanted Shiv to take Gauri up the Katta and I wanted him to tell Gauri that everything will be okay from now on... I wanted each of them to reinforce their love to each other. I also wanted Gauri to take the step and tell Shiv she will be there for him from now on just like he was there for her...etc. She needs to be Shiv's strength.

I also want Gauri to be shown in a different light. . No matter how negative Nisha and Nachi are she needs to be positive...etc. The worst is over for her. So, Gauri needs to be shown in a very positive way; in a different manner. Dress differently; smile more and stay positive.

If Gauri goes to Benaras (as Sayali's insta suggests) then definite potential for such a scene. Would've preferred it in the Mumbai katta, but kahi bhi chalega, so as to speak 😃

Big house in Benares 😆, should not be too difficult to find a spot where they can have a moment's privacy 😳

Shiv's sister was mentioned earlier too by Babuji , dont remember in what context, but something similar. Looks like they are gathering shiv's family now. Saw one post on insta , Rishi with some actor who will be Shiv's friend in Banaras.

I felt Rishi looked tired and unwell in that scene. He did not look his normal self.

And yes, Shauri scene disappointed me as well. This is not how lovers would meet after such long and stressful times. Ek hug toh banta tha..

CVs should have shown atleast some intimacy on katta. I remembered that scene where Gauri is trying to write down her feelings in Hindi and Shiv comes there, What a lovely scene that was. There was not even hand holding , but romance was truly conveyed.
Abhi toh Shauri scenes ke liye aur wait karna padega. What was the hurry for CVs to send Shiv and family to pack off to Banaras so quickly, like the very next day , Fail to understand the reason. The only reason can be, they want to continue with judai track.

I thought they missed opportunities to heighten the romantic scenes today. When Shiv comes to Gauri's house, it would have been so nice to see both eager to stand close to each other or stare without restraint at each other. After all they had full sanction in Sawant household didn't they?
Then outside the room when Shiv puts the bangles there was such restraint. Why? They were alone weren't they?
Then when they are leaving, Gauri is left standing dejectedly after Amma's snub and no effort by Shiv to cheer her up. When he reaches the taxi he is more worried about opening the door of the taxi for Amma. And then just one glance at the forlorn looking Gauri before he enters the taxi and drives off. What stopped him from coming back to Gauri and assuring her that all will be OK before entering the taxi? It looked as if he was just going to office or something and would be back in the evening.
