When Chitra / Tawli track was going on in JYRG, I am the one who had always taken stand that if SD would have been a better actress then Tawli track would have been bearable and would have gone to some decent level. I remember that we had arguments also about this. But I want to say that I was totally wrong at that time. He ase characters kitihi changale actors ani good looking asale tari kahi farak padat nahi. Actually a similar track like this is currently going on in Assa Saasar. Leads elder sister is trying to snatch her love. Shweta Pendse who is portraying Vibha / Hadal is not only a dammed good actress but she is good looking also. But still that track is equally frustrating to all of us who are following the serial yet. 😭

She is acting in the play with Saurabh Gokhale and Sameer Khandekar (Venu of Kahe Diya Pardes)

@Dipali, I tend to agree with you that a vamp track (whether with a good actress or a bad actress) does not suit some serials like JYRG. There is a certain type of audience who like such simple serials and they are not comfortable with such negativity. It is fine if you have such tracks in serials where from start itself there are negative elements like in Tu Tithe Me / Radha Bawri. Serials like JYRG can have grey characters (like Babaji) but not complete black characters because such serials have built it's popularity on the basis of it's cleanness and simplicity. ELDG was another such serial where there was no negativity. Such serials have to be cut short if necessary rather than use vamps and villains to extend it's life.

Agree with you Kamal. But unfortunately these are the track which are extended the most. The way they had totally spoiled JYRG by introducing Chitra, they have spoiled Assa Saasar by making Vibha a vamp suddenly. The transformation is so sudden and it's sick to watch a caring elder sister turning into a vamp. Of course CVs will certainly find a way to glorify that character in the end the way they had done in Chitra track. Sagala karun savarun mahaan banavanar ya ashya characters na. 😡

Prajakta with Surabha Gokhale? I am not a great fan of Saurabh. I didn't like his role in Radha hi Bawri. 😔 Basically I didn't like RHB because of so much negativity portrayed.

But he looks good Kamal. I always thought that he used to look younger to Shruti, but I guess that was the theme, not sure but. But I feel look wise and age wise he and Prajakta will match each other. Let's wait and watch. But I am happy that both Lalit nd Prajakta have good PHs for their first commercial plays, bhadrakali nd suyog. This is the first time Prajakta is doing a play, hope she shines in it.

Looks like album Feelings songs are picturised on different celebrities and one of the song features Prajakta nd Bhushan.

I know Dipali, I may be biased about Saurabh because I didn't like the serial. Hope for the best that the play clicks!

Oh yes, I agree that serial was pathetic though I didn't watch it much.
