Anand Injured

Anand Suryavanshi, aka Akshay of ' Mamta', was injured in an accident when shooting for a stunt sequence. The scene required him to chase someone and then jump on the bonnet of a car but his running speed was too much and hence the momentum could not be controlled and in the process he sprained his ankle. Even on the second day, he continued shooting without a body double which led to further deterioration of his condition and now doctor has advised him to take rest until the injury is fully healed.
As the actor reveals, ' It was a holi sequence where I was supposed to chase someone and jump on the bonnet of a car. Since I was running at a great speed towards the car, I failed to stop myself on time and jumped on the hood of the car instead. But then I lost my balance and toppled on the other side, thus spraining my ankle. Although I was in great pain, I managed to complete the scene.'
