Dheeraj comes and asks Siddharth why he's so tensed. Sid says that it's nothing and asks about the designer.Dheeraj says that the good designer was charging too much and they wonder what they will show to the fashion house within two days. Siddharth tries to think of where they could find a good designer.
Aanchal is working on some of her designs deep in thought. She smiles at her finished result, clothes for the barbie doll.
Imli bhai is surprised at how pretty Aanchal made the doll and says that she will call Juhi right away. She begins to call Juhi but Aanchal stops her and explains that she wants Imli to give Juhi the doll because she may not take it if she knew it was from Aanchal. Juhi is at the door and overhears all of this. Aanchal and Imli see her and Imli tells Juhi that Aanchal bought her such a beautiful doll. Juhi asks Aanchal who asked her to bring the doll? Aanchal explains that she thought Juhi might like the doll but Juhi says that they dont accept gifts from outsiders. Imli gets upset with Juhi and asks her if that is the way to speak with elders. She then tells Aanchal not to give the doll to Juhi but to her instead 😆 (soo cutee) and she would give it to her bhanji. She goes on praising the doll while Juhi looks on confused. Juhi interrupts Imli and says that today, she'd take the doll but after that, no more gifts. Aanchal agrees and smiles.
Siddharth is trying to deal with a designer about salaries but the designer doesnt agree. Dadaji comes and comforts Sid telling him not to worry and that they'd find a way.
Aanchal walks in on Juhi kissing her doll and smiles. Sachin asks about the doll as Aayush looks on. He then asks who gave her the doll and Aanchal begins to look worried. Juhi doesnt answer and Aanchal finally speaks up saying she gave it. Aayush tells her that she shouldnt bring gifts for them. Aanchal tries to explain but the doll is thrown out the window.
Siddharth paces outside, still on the phone, as he trys to sort out the designer issue. He comes across the doll and picks it up, inspecting it's clothes and realizes this is what he's been looking for and says that this is the kind of dress he wants, indian, traditional but in denim. He calls his work and says he's found a sample of their design.
Aanchal bumps into Sid and apologizes quickly, trying to leave but Sid stops her. He then asks if she had designed that dress. Aanchal asks where he got the doll from but he asks her again to answer his question. He concludes that she is a designer. Aanchal tries to deny it but Sid presses on. Aanchal said she was to do fashion designing in the US but left it and Sid asks her why. He asks her why she left such a good career just to teach his kids. She says there is no reason but Sid says that there must be. He reiterates that Jaya had called him the day she left and had told him she had given her ticket to some girl who was studying abroad.
He asks her of that girl was her. Aanchal is shocked and doesnt know how to respond as Sid accuses her of being responsible for Jaya's death!
Aanchal wakes up realizing it was just a dream and decides that nobody should come to know about her past and that she wanted to be a designer.
Sid tells Dheeraj that their work is done and that the designs were approved. He asks Dheeraj to find out who's doll this was. Dheeraj looks on in amusement. Imli comes in and sees him with the doll. Dheeraj clarifies that the doll isnt his and Imli says she knows that it belongs to Juhi and Aanchal had given it to Juhi and had made the dress. Dheeraj is delighted to hear this and proceeds to call Aanchal. He congratulates her on the design and requests her to make a few more for them. Aanchal tells Dheeraj that she isnt a designer and she had just made the design like that. Dheeraj says he knows that but they have no other choice and they really need her help or Sid would have to close the factory. Aanchal reluctantly agrees to help and Dheeraj is beyond happy.
Chanchal is in a rickshaw and spots Aanchal giving a file to Dheeraj which contains the designs. She quickly gets out of the rickshaw and heads towards them. She sees them looking at the file but since it is covering their faces, na jaane kya woh soch rahi thi. The episode ends on her shocked face.
