Every thing that was good in the story has disappeared with Ganga Miayya

Today we had the extremely regressive and offensive and distasteful episode

Thapadiya Mai, Shivanand and Bahu Beta scene was straight out of the saas bahu sagas

My disillusionment with the show is complete,

The show started with an extremely brave woman called Maimui - strong independent and courageous

Then we had Dadi - a woman who lived life on her own terms and said what she meant, no whimpering simpering

Fearless Thapadia mai, and rebellious Kat completed the picture

This Babbal man respects women I thought as I saw Katherine fight Shiva like an equal



Of late, i began to have my doubts when Shiva and Rudra told TM and Kat to do seva of sick while the boys went out to fight - the stereotyping was strongly visible

And today - the weeping Thapadiya Mai - as the poor victim of the bahu, the son - who inspired by Shiva decides to be a MAN and so slaps his wife - to the satisfaction of his mother ...

Why Mr Babbal too believes that women belong to the Kitchen and

he abides by the mantra of beat the wife to treat her right



And of course if that wasnt regressive enough, we had all the Graudas sing a bhajan,

diyas in hand, pleading to Ganga Maiyya to return to her devotees

So, none of the issues of the past few episodes to pollution have been addressed!

A token speech was made

A few dialogues of aastha were thrown around

Now the pooja path will bring Ganga Maiyya back


Today's episode - a big minus for me - 0/10 to writing, 0/10 to the regressive ideology, 0/10 to all the hypocrisy...

Preaching about cleaning Ganga was understood. But today's epi looked like some very old movie was playing with a sad song going on.
Hope some sense prevails in coming epi.

LifeOK is SP's sister channel. @ bold - above is clear signs of SP interference. That is pure 100% Starplus.

In a bound and locked script,, I assume the whole story of 120 episodes, screenplay etc. has been written ahead of time. Acting, directing and editing is what is left.

If that is true then why did Uttkarsh leave because he was upset about the script?

Who are these new writers and why do we need them if the script is pre- written?

LifeOK shows dont have good TRPs anyway so how does changing the script help?

SP interference drove a man of Mr. Bhansali's stature away. Mr Babbal is not as big a name as Bhansali and why would his work be spared?

To me A man who claims to be a 'starter' director, who starts a show and leaves after the first hundred episodes even when he is working with someone like Bhansali is a man of integrity.

I reckon Mr. Babbal is as much a victim here as the story and us viewers.

Yesterday's episode was disgusting. Bhairvi, Rudra, Shiva and Thappadiya singing Ganga Maiyaaa...it look like scene from old hindi movie where leads sing bhajan to please Rain God during droughts and rest of the villagers join the chorus. What happened to their Daivya shakti ?

As @Infofan said that story is scripted and they are not bothered about TRP then why bring the change in the end .

Only scene which stuck to the story was of Dansh's . Feel bad to say but Rudra character is not with substance anymore .

I meant to say that SP brought about changes in the locked script in hopes of increasing TRP and bringing the aunties to watch. Hence the Ganga maiyya bhajans. The regressive tracks, catering to the TRP audience is typical of SP philosophy. They do not have the courage to do something genuinely different. 'Different' is OK only as long as it is within the framework of the typical SP content for shows. That is why MK started out so well and lost its way.

@Arshics last week was atleast fine to me message wise but yesterday epi was the killer. Especially the son slapping his wife. I hated that scene to the core. Completely hated it 😡 and it was too too regressive. I have a question to ask the CVs. There might be n number of issues between DIL and MIL but why the fault only with the DIL. Yes the DIL was arrogant, but then was Mai right in running away with her ornaments. DILs arrogance should have been punished, but the son should have told his mom also some sane thing about the ornament looting. I do not have any justification for that part. It was simply to please TRP aunties. I agree parents has to be respected, but then when parents are wrong that also needs to be corrected. Where is the script that showed Rudra fighting Shiva. That was a beauty. And yesterday what Dharma they showed. Not to talk anything about the bhajan. and on a side note sad to say my mom enjoyed the complete epi unlike the ones which I enjoyed which had deep meanings. She enjoyed the slap scene also . So sometimes I feel I do not have right to preach on TRP aunties when certain habits at my own home well is beyond correction. Only highlight of the epi for me: The question the girl asks Rudra, will you lose the way you are the hero and Bairavi's dialogue in the precap at every door you will have 2 ways. Always choose the right or the right direction. One thing is sure somewhere along the line he is gonna choose the left.
