Nagas - A Look Into the Past, Present, and Possible Future

Okay so after yesterday's Nagas' entry I've had a couple of things spinning around in my brain.

First the Nagas and how they are similar and different to Naags.
  • Similarity # 1 - Like naags, the Nagas operate on fear. When you see a naag your first instinct is to run or hide or to pray to Naag Devta to save you. Similarly, the Nagas operate on fear with their machine guns, their "terrorism" so to speak, and the way they treat others.
  • Similarity # 2 - The colour black. Naags have for centuries been associated with the colour black. Just do a search of "Shiva" on Google and you'll find that most statues and pictures of Shiva have a black Naag around him. Similarly the Nagas choose to dress in black.
  • Similarity # 3 - It doesn't matter who comes in front of them, if they feel they're in danger the naags will attack. Similarly, it doesn't matter who it is, the Nagas will kill to protect their identity and maintain their fear.
  • Difference # 1 - Unlike the naags, the Nagas here are not appeased if someone is just fearing them. For them killing is more important.
Please feel free to add. These are all I could think of.

Now in the past we saw these Naags practising with their hands and feet, but today they carry guns with silencers. Yes these Naags are more deadly, but they've also adapted with time. This isn't a fight just of the past, but also of the present and the future.

What I look forward to seeing is how this fight will play out. Because while the Naags have taken on modern terrorism as their approach to get to the Amrit, the Garudas are still using their hands, their power and strength, and swords to protect the Amrit and themselves (as per promo). Yet it is still a battle of equals because if you strip both of their weapons it's strength against strength and power against power.

I foresee a powerful battle playing out. The Nagas are not one to go down easily and the Garudas are not one to be defeated easily either!

@Shreya at any point the mind games has to go beyond weapons. Weapons are just a means but the battle is fought in the mind and the one who has greater control of mind, greater focus and has niyati by their side will win it.
