The dialogues in this show are better than SC(in general. There were many good and great dialogues there too). I remember my friends mocking SC in the beginning about those grand sets and unreal lines.

I find this show very down-to-earth and lively. No dull moment. Characterization should be consistent and hope it gets better.

Santhi, I agree, in the early days we come with expectations, some of which are met, some are exceeded and some fall short, so we will be raving and ranting and complaining and complimenting, till we are able to align our expectations and see this show with a more balanced view point. I specially always have a love hate relationship with every show in the begining, and that's ok,

The show and the story are still different, the treatment good and far superior to any other show on star plus, and the fact that it's on life ok, means that this standard will be maintained !

Even the fact that story moves from Varanasi to Poland, and new twists are introduced in every episode adds to the complexity of the show!

Now we have this yet unexplained angle of prof Rao and the question of whose side is he really on?

Why is swami Balivesh hiding Rudra ? The mystery of the seven rakshaks of which we have met only 2, the story of Maya, so lots of threads to unravel, lots of questions raised and plot is thickening for all to converge at the Mahakumbh !

I liked today's episode. Rudra was very believable today. His anger made sense. Grerson upping the ante by talking in Hindi seemed ok to me.

The show is going fast.

The only sore point today was how Maya is on a fast-track wrt. Rudra. Wo chipakna and all. I think she knows something. Or I hope she does. When she saw the tattoo, she didn't have that shocked look.

Rudra is actually is ok with Maya being around? Maya is hitting at him hard but what about him.

Waise he also knows the Bhagwat Geeta very well!

Like you said Maya was totally unfit and and OTT behavior was hilarious. The way she holed tight Rudra was like she is known to Rudra for ages.

Rudra's eyes are so scary, I used to love young Rudra's expressive eyes, and now

his eyes doesn't seems like a sane human being. His Hysteric behavior scaring me..

Even though he is suffering with the thought of his lose

for several years, one just cannot change to 180 degrees.

I would prefer to see Rudra more introvert, calm, isolated and withdrawn...

Neel, I am sure the reasons for Rudra's rudr roop will become clear in time.

Waise, psychologically sochein toh a person who has extraordinary energy inside him, has extraordinary powers, has also witnessed humongous tragedies in his past, for which he feels himself to be the cause, and has a sharp memory which doesn't let him forget.

He also witnesses death everyday, for him to feel a raging volcano inside of him is understandable

What happened to child Rudra - I guess nothing except that he grew up!

And while he grew up, the world around him remained the same, the storms inside him just grew stronger and stronger and Rudra grew angrier and angrier !

Since he is so calm around Mai, I guess she never noticed how her bachwa has fire coming out of his eyes, or maybe she did notice it, hence her attempts to push RUdra towards Maya - a girl who has entered their world from a place that's opposite of Rudra's !

They should have introduce Maya better. Now it looks like she desperate or something to be friends with Rudra. Yes the hug was odd.
As for the actress i think give her more time. Maybe this is her first show, i dont know.

As for Rudra anger. I think he is just frustrated with everything, life.. and what happen to him. Thats why he is angry all the time.

I agree with you Ashna n the probable cause of Rudras anger! He who is destined for big things of life, even if he doesn't know it, will be full of restless energy, that will torment him and anger is an outlet for a person who doesn't know what is happening to him!

And specially if his only way to deal with all this is to slam a lid on it and only suffer his torment privately !

Thanks to all this discussion I am able to rationalize Rudras behaviour to quite an extent!

I feel they have brought in Maya as Rudra's love interest and its really not working. Waiting for the story to develop with the entry of rest of the Rakshaks . Ketki Dave should be interesting .

Seema Biswas is doing good justice as concerned/anxious Maimui. Im eager to know more about other characters and how they shape up. Till then Rudra should calm down .

I sort of liked the episode. I especially liked Gautam's breakdown scene with Maimui.

But yes, Maya's behaviour towards Rudra is too weird. Seema steals the scenes whenever she is in the frame. Seema's MM is a treat to watch.

I couldn't understand the need of Maya to hug Rudra. I mean has their relation reached that close a friendship or something. That was def OTT.

But there were couple of positives in the epi

- Swami Agnivesh's double crossing revealed to Grayson. So mystery angle is progressing

- Maya's question to Rudra about clinging to past and his notion that only he has lost something.

But Payal is not matching up. She need not be angry, but she has to be assertive and what you say you need to feel she can temper Rudra's anger. That is not coming out fully in her.

It is not about romance, it is about two equally powerful and assertive people. If they are trying to show Shiv-Sakthi , Payal is way of the mark for that image.

Maya is not just Rudra's love interest. If it was so, she wouldn't be introduced in a mysterious way and that too this early.

GR said earlier that there is less of romance in this show. So she is a part of the plot. And her interest in Amrit Manthan story in that seminar points to it.
