Actually I always took Star Dury as complete villian but here he stood for his sister confessed his love for his dear ones so I guess he was not an out n out villian

Actually you are right

KaamDev was busy with Rati after having met her in a physical body after 2 Yugas(as Pradyumna). Obviously this generation will have least intervention of Kaamdev and the result for this is sakaar
