Bheem n Dury are practically of the same age. Bheem was born during the day and Dury at mid night (thereby some calling him a day younger)

That's the big problem. The system set up by King Bharat should have been restored by Krishna that capability and not birth or order of that birth should decide a candidates ascendency to the throne.

So basically all five did get punishments just the nature of punishment was different.

Yudhishtir never"got away" he was punished by Karma, being in the right (or rather winning) side just made him publicly acceptable

Literally none of the shows or interpretations stress on this aspect which makes me think this was something that was consciously condoned by Krishna and Vyas. Also I don't think the "punishment" was anything substantial. The epic should have dealt better with this. That would have been a teaching that a woman/family are not objects that can be gambled on, no matter if you are a King or a pauper.

Also one question, does his other son with Devika rule Shibi or Shibi was non-existing after war?

Coming to punishment to family even KDDS' family got the same punishment as them.

Karna lost 8 of his sons(the total what 5 Pandavas collectively lost) who were at absolutely no fault, DuryDushy had their entire lineage finished, even Vikarna who supported Draupadi died.

Shakuni's brothers and sons died

Who were other queen apart from panchali?? Certainly not subdhara who was prakishit s grandmother. Even devika was the not the queen.

now coming to taunting yudishtir and detached from him due to the humiliation she and her other 4 husbands had to go through thats her personal relationship furthermore the love maybe drifted away from her heart but the respect was always there for yudishtir thus he is still important to her

those days there are no divorces thus she can't do much except for tolerating him for the sake of her son but in our kalyug gen people like yudishtir will be jailed by their wives🤣

there is no wrong in pooja's explanation and she definitely did not lie even if draupadi comes infront of us and we ask the same question she will tell the same all 5 are important to her and its a sin to choose 1

as readers we know arjun-bheem loved understand and respected her the most

It wasn't just the Dyut Sabha defeat, Yudi actually promoted her while staking as someone who has slender waist, who is neither short nor long, in short he was selling her with her USP in front of people who are waiting to molest her. Normally which husband would even say such things about his wife?

He sent a message to Draupadi to come with her naval exposed into the court and try to create sympathy for herself.

He asked her to return to the inner chambers (where Keechak might attack her) and wait for the time her husband could help

I was still ready to excuse her if it was only staking because at that time he didn't have much option, but his acts later makes him unbearable

Draupadi might never chose a favourite husband, but she definitely had the least favourite one in form of Yudhishtir.

.

I think I made a wrong statement, I meant there were many queens in those days whose children never ascended the throne(owing to polygyny) but rarely were there kings whose children couldn't

If you take it that way then even the punishments to DDSK wasn't so substantial as per the epic. Both DuryDushy died in fifties, KarnaShakuni in sixties, while fighting in the battlefield to become a martyr. The best death people could expect those days. Later all of them got heaven (minimum) .

Fifties sixties as it is was an age when majority people died those days. So they didn't lose much on a personal front

Shibi definitely was there after the war too, but Yudheya wasn't the king/crown prince of that land but just a senior officials grandson.

Nothing is known about him after the war. I really think he had died early

The terrible 4 lost their lives and actually I think most had been defeated quite emphatically on the battle field.

I read the Pandavas ruled for 30+ years and would have been in their 90s when they ascended? Wasn't life expectancy longer for those who had survived war those days?

Why? Coz he stressed for war while others wanted peace? His role seems quite passive overall in the epic.
