By the way. The states which separated from India in 1947

1) Punjab ,-- Trigartha

2) Bengal -- BangDesh

3) Assam -- Pragjyothis

4) Sindh-- SindhuDesh

5) Khyber Pakkhtunwa (North West Frontier Province)-- Madra

6) Baluchistan-- Bahleek

Isn't it strange that all these states supported Kauravas in the war?

In fact Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan of NWFP tried a lot to remain a part of India and not join Pakistan but at the end had to accept his fate, just like Shalya wanted to join the Pandavas and tried for it but as his fate had it, had to join Kauravas

I know useless finding since Orissa (Kalinga), Haryana (then a part of Trigartha), North Bihar (AngaPradesh), East Punjab, West Bengal, majority Assam which stayed with India, also supported Kauravas, but zabarzasti ka miracle nikaalna hai to this one could be used.

100% places which became Pakistan had supported the Kauravas

I would've loved to believe Karna angle was a plot by Kunti.

But then, her revelation to Yudhishtira doesn't male sense.

Kunti did care for Karna.

1. She asked and insisted for Kavach Kundal for his safety and as identity marker for him

2. She sent him wealth and spies to make sure he is adopted in a nice family

3. She whitewashes him after his death by telling everyone that Karna spared his four brothers for her sake. As well as tells the world she is his mother.

As a mother she cared about him. I am not surprised because she did treat Sahadev and Nakul with a lot of love and was never partial to her own sons. She cared about her daughter in law Draupadi too, infact her suffering made her angry and dissappointed with her own sons.

However she does call Karna a sinful wretch, who has always persecuted her sons.

I dont think she ever wanted to go and speak to Karna or acknowledge him. Specially after Dyut Sabha.

She only went because she felt Karna will do whatever it takes to kill her other 5 sons.

She went to sacrifice her honor for the sake of pandavas safety. That is why after 13 years I feel.

She went for Pandaavs not Karna

She definitely went to Karna for her son's sake and not for Karna's sake.

If it were for Karna she would have reached to Yudhishtir n not to Karna. And I don't blame her for that. The mere fact that she acknowledged Karna after his death (despite what he did at Dyut Sabha) surprises me. Karna was such a sinner post Dyut Sabha that anyone wouldn't be interested in having a relation with him. I am sure that he not been the king, Adhirath Radha would have disowned him too.

I'm not sure about that. Athiratha did a whole Bollywood melodrama when Karna became king. This was after the murder attempt on Bheema and the attempt to get brahmashira from Drona only to kill Arjuna

That brings me to Parashuram curse. I haven't read that episode. But since sita is actually son of brahmana mother with kshatriya father, why didn't Karna say that to Parashuram?

Was Radha a Brahmin? I think Karna is called SutaPutra and not Suta, probably Adhirath's mom would have been Brahmin and dad was a Kshatriya from Anga royal family.

But then what was the caste of Radha??

Anyhow I don't think Parashuram aimed to teach the children of Kshatriyas, and obviously the family of Suta would be a Kshatriya family

By the way did Adhirath Radha have a clue about Karna's involvement in royal conspiracies by then?

If Karna was there to get back Anga why did Adhirath do that melodrama anyway

The melodrama means Athirath was pleased with the outcome. Unless he were totally naive, he would know it was repayment for Karna helping Suyodhana.

So at the very least, Athirath and Radha knew after Karna got Anga, but at least the father was happy about it and didn't do any disowning. So why would they disown after dice hall?

Ok got it now.

See to be very honest, kings did conspire to remove the opponents from line (that in fact would result in fewer deaths than a full fledged war)

Royal conspiracies might sound wrong to us, but is a practicality all across. Although we never got know, but definitely Pandavas too would have planned something against Kauravas

But public disrobe (of even a slave woman) isn't something which has even been a part of Indian culture
