Drona the pot born. Ok here is the interesting story of not just Bharadvaj' son Drona but Vyasa's son suka as well as Rishi Chyavana's son Pramati.

Rishi Cyavana's son Pramati marries apsara Ghritachi and has a son from her named Ruru. This story is narrated in Adi Parva. Section Puloma Parva

Now the same Ghritachi while bathing in a river is observed by Bharadwaj and he masturbates. And then collects the semen in a pot and out comes from the pot Drona. Who is named so because he is born from the pot.

The very same ghritachi is observed in the form of a parrot (playing with parrots/or dressed in a green parrot color dress) while Vyasa is preparing for a yagya.

Vyasa sees her, she sees vyasa but she scared of the rishi takes a form of parrot and flies away Vyasa sees her and masturbates and his semen falls on arani sticks kept for the yagya and from it pops out Suka. Named so because Ghritaci looked like a parrot when Vysa did the job..

So now make of these stories what you will.

There is another mention of Ghritachi with another puru king raudrashwa and she gave him 10 sons aparently..but it must be some other ghritachi as it happens atleast 3 generations prior.

Vyas ji's son should be one generation after Drona, Ruru. Could she be the same woman?

Anyhow do you want to say that the woman Ghritachi was free woman and she reached out to whoever she wished? Or did multiple Munis force themselves onto her

Absolutely none. He was a bad boy through and through. But he hasnt been whitewashed to the extent Balram and Vasudev were.

Which is one of the reasons why I believe he was not Krishna's biological son. The other reason being Krishna's coldness towards him. And Balram's over compensating fondness.

Also Jambavati the second queen his mother has practically no presence in any of the krishna leelas.

Krishna has a wife kalindi who is also called as incarnation of yamuna, Arjun finds her near IP and then gets her married to Krishna.

However other than this story and name of a few sons there is no mention of Kalindi in Krishna's leelas.

We have Balrama dragging Yamuna in the form of a woman in Vraja when he visits vraja after dwarka is established. That incident is graphic and violent and has yamuna pleading to him to let her go for the sake of her chastity and honor

So you can join the dots and make your own story

I never heard about this story. Can you tell about it in detail and why was balram dragging yamuna ?

When did Pandavas meet Krishna?

When Dwarka is getting built, Krishna sends Akrura to Hastinapur. This is prior to Rangabhoomi display.

Around the same time Satyaki and Krishna's brother Gada are also enrolled with Drona as students.

He meets Kunti and Vidur who tell him about all the conspiracies of Dhrit and Dury against her sons. Akrura as Krishna's emissary warns Dhrit and tells him to be the uncle he should be and not deprive Pandavas of their rights.

After Kuru Panchal war Bhima goes to Dwarka and trains on advanced mace fighting with Balram. There he must have met Krishna too who is busy establishing Dwarka. While Yudhishtir is made crown prince, Arjun does advanced training with Drona and conquers the neighbouring kingdoms that were troubling Hastinapur. This takes near about 2 to 3 years

Then Lakshagriha happens and Krishn and Balram and Satyaki come to Varnavrat for Pandavas funeral.

However Krishna and Balram leave midway to catch Shatadhanwa Kritaverma and Akrura who killed Satyabhama's father. But they leave satyaki behind to complete the rituals.

After Akrura escapes with Satyabhama's treasure or syamantaka mani, Balram suspects Krishna of hiding it and blaming Akrura. Because he thinks Krishna does not want to give that wealth to Balram and keep it for himself.

Angry Balram goes on self exile to mithila. Duryodhan goes to mithila after him, becomes his student and trains under him.

Then Draupadi Swayamvar happens, where Krishna recognises Pandavas. But the way he identifies each of the brothers and points them to Balram. It is obvious that he has met all of them.

It could also be that at some point before Lakshagriha all the five brothers must have definetly visited Dwarka under the pretext of fetching Bhima or meeting Vasudev and family and thanking them for support.

Or at some.point before Lakshagriha Krishna could have met them while fetching Gada and Satyaki from Gurukul, but may not have met Kunti and vidur

After Swayamvar Balram and Krishna go to Potter's hut and formally introduce themselves to Kunti and touch her feet. Then they touch Yudhishtir's feet.

Drapaudi s Swamyvaar. Krishna follows pandavas to their hut and introduces himself

The hero of the Vrishni race (Krishna suspecting the five persons he had seen at the Swayamvara to be none else than the heroes of the Kuru race), came accompanied by the son of Rohini (Valadeva), to the house of the potter where those foremost of men had taken up their quarters. On arriving there, Krishna and Valadeva beheld seated in that potter's house Ajatasanu (Yudhishthira) of well developed and long arms, and his younger brothers passing the splendour of fire sitting around him. Then Vasudeva approaching that foremost of virtuous men--the son of Kunti--and touching the feet of that prince of the Ajamida race, said, 'I am Krishna.'

If krishna knew Pandavas before the Swamyvaar why did he introduced himself in potter house??

Krishna and Balram formally introduce themselves to kunti. Not to Pandavas. They are just standing there.

They touch yudhishtir's feet because he is older.

The prior interactions of Akrura Balram and Duryodhan are in Harivansh and Bhgvatham.

Please read my updated post. It was getting cut maybe because it was too long. Ive edited it.

No Ghritachi was Pramati's wife. The story's are clear that Bharadvaj sees her bathing but doesnt get close to her and She runs away seeing Vyasa.

In my opinion these guys saw a colleague's wife and lusted after her.

She didnt let them get close, so they did the job with another available servant and had the sons.

But were pissed off with Ghritachi for not letting them have their way so created fake story to spoil her name, and called her an apsara.

Apsara was an euphemism for courtesan, whore in that era. Apsara's never married anyone. They would spend time, have children leave the kids with father or abandon them and leave

Ghritachi was a dutiful wife of Pramati, she lived with him and raised their son Ruru with him.
