Indraprasth is brimming with activity that day as it is their Living God Krishna Vaasudeva's birth day. Much to the excitement of the royal family Sravan Bahula Ashtami happened when Krishna is present in Indraprasth after bringing Subhadra and Abhi who came to Dwaraka for a brief period.For Arjun it is a festive moment that should be celebrated all over his kingdom. Panchali who is three months pregnant with Arjun's child looked forward to worship her Govind in her unique way. Her pregnancy is not informed to any one Her son Srut Kirti is still seven months old and again she is carrying Arjun's child. Panchali felt embarrassed thinking of the reactions of her mother in law her husband's and her co wives.Ofcourse the reason for this is Arjun's strong desire to possess a daughter and as fate favoured him Panchali became pregnant for a second time. She did not tell her husband yet as he just returned from his conquest of Hiranya pur.She is particularly apprehensive of Kunti's reaction.Kunti always wanted equality among her son's as far as Draupadi is concerned. So how will her mother in law react if she gets the news. She did not dare to imagine and made herself busy with preparations on the eve of Krishna's birth day.Satya observed Panchali and asked.' Why are you looking week? Are you fine?" Draupadi convinced her that because of her sleepless nights with her infant Kirti she is feeling tired.Kunti observed her Bahu carefully She looks different What happened to her Bahu? She asked Priyamvada who said nothing to worry. Krishna and Arjun came to the Dining chamber as per their wish. They never stick up to timings.All the brothers and Maharaj Drupad Drishtdyumn who also happened to come over are eating together.Kunti called out to Subhadra who just entered.' Did Abhi eat food? " Subhadra expressed her despair.' It is a farce to make him eat.Bua he must have inherited this from your son." Krishna laughed and teased Arjun.' See Myl sister is targeting you only." Now Nakul's wife Karenu is pregnant. If you all want a daughter pray for her." Karenu who is eating dinner commented.' Please don't pray for a daughter. You know My husband's obsession for make up and clothes. He will make his daughter also obsessed like him." Every one laughed and Bheem patted Nakul.' I agree with her. Kunti stood at the window and gazed at the blue sky. The day Vasudev and Devaki heaved a sigh of relief.The saviour had arrived to protect them from the tyrant Kans. And their wait culminated in happiness. Not only Kans but Krishna killed many demons and made the whole Aryavarth bow before him with regard. Now his birthday is celebrated by his cousins at Indra Prasth the city of Dreams. The first Arti was done by Rukmini,Satya Draupadi and Subhadra.Vasudev and Devaki specially came for the occasion. Kunti is overcome with joy.' Kanha I am immensely pleased to celebrate Your birth day here. I consider myself the luckiest." A beautiful song is rendered on that occasion by Jayanti the courtesan's daughter who is a great devotee of Krishna.' Adharam Madhuram Vadanam Madhuram,Nayanam Madhuram,Gamanam Madhuram,Madhuradhipate rakhilam Madhuram. O Lord,your face is beautiful,Your lips are sweet,Your Gait is beautiful Your eyes are beautiful. Every thing about you is sweet...Rukmini looked at her Lord with devotional love. Krishna smiled at her and graced her the most coveted place in his heart. Only they two know how close they are. Their souls are inseparable.Satya's lovelorn expression was met with equally droolworthy eye lock by her Lord.that made her forget herself and pine for more such cosy expressions. Satya sulked and every one laughed.Yufhidhtir approached Krishna folded his hands and offered Krishna fine silk garments and ornaments. Krishna touched his feet.' I am like Parth to you. Don't fold hands" Krishna told him.Bheema approached him and offered him specially made with butter milk sweets. ' You know Kanha Panchali and me struggled for two days in the Kitchen to make these with perfection. I challenge no one can make them as tasty and sweet. Taste it." Bheema threw the sweet into Krishna's mouth and waited for applause. Krishna swallowed it and sideglanced at Draupadi.' It is too nice Bhrata Bheem. But my Sakhi had to slog harder in this state." Priyamvada who came there understood the situation and helped Panchali get up.Kunti could not believe her ears. Still Kirti is hardly three months old. Again Panchali conceived?
