ive read Krishna the God Who Lived as Man too. On whose point of view parva is based on? Ajaya is on Arjun right?
ive heard yuganta & Jaya r good too. Yuganta is somewhat devoid of the divine aspect so tht way its a bit diff.

I am a Bengali & read Krishna Charitra in original. It is my favorite 😊 Jaya is good I guess, don't know wbout Yuganta. I think Yuganta is on Arjun.
& dear, I will suggest you to keep a long distance from Ajaya. It has shows Duri as the hero & Pandavas as villains 🤢 I have no expectation from this book. the author who can blame Pandavas can blame Krishna as well, no doubt in this. even I have heart that Ajaya did Krishna ninda 🤢

one thing i completely disagree with the makers of Krishna related shows...why do they have to make him look soo fairer.. the fact is he was dark complexioned and our love for him doesnt reduce because of just a mere skin color.. these makers need to get racism out of their mind..

hmm but i think its got to do more with the actor they choose for the role. most actors are normal skinned in tv .

ive said this before too. when i saw 1st promo of MB (i dint know who was cast as krishna then) i just thought tht they shud take the same actor playing Vishnu. - I feel krishna avtaar was closest to the character of vishnu, so it would be much easier for the actor n the audience to connect.

& he was doing a good job as vishnu & he wasnt the main lead in DKDM n could give time. also life OK n SP are sister channels so they both wud work it out. 😆

Next promo he was there as Krishna n i was like oh wow good.😆 Any idea SRJ was offered krishna before or after vishnu😕. i think he played vishnu in one more serial before mahadev too.

And i am glad they overlooked the skin color aspect while casting this Krishna otherwise we wouldnt have got SRJ😊. And not only Krishna, even arjun n draupadi were also dark skinned. so they wud need to find 3 actors to fit tht role.

Yuganta is a series of character essays. Jaya is a retelling of MB which includes some folk tales. Ajaya is a Dury POV book, I havent gotten beyond first page; am not a fan of Dury but I like to see other POVs, Parva is also a retelling, multiple POVs.

Of these and the books before - Yuganta, Ajaya, Parva, Aryavarta Chronicles, Now Let me Sleep are all shorn of any suggestion of divinity

If you want an Arjun POV - Arjun, Without A Doubt is coming out next year

oh ajaya is -duri hero . then maybe i mixed up the books. @urmila uve read Jaya? i heard its a lot about yudhi. he is the winner in the end who goes to heaven in his human form.

^^^ No I did not read Jaya but I want to read 😊 i know the honorable position author has given to Yudhi 😳 I respect him for that & I agree with his theory that 'Jaya' is the real victory which makes one God's companion, i.e, gives salvation. You know that Yudhi got place in Vaikuntha & Krishna Himself welcomed him there 😊 so that is the real 'Jaya' according to the author which is very correct.
