From Mahabharat i have taken these points home-
>God can do anything to upkeep Dharma,even if it means destroy his own family whoare in the wrong-(Lord Krishna reassuring Gandhari that her curse was justified as the yadav's were behaving badly and not morally).I really liked this point.
>Whatever shortcuts one uses for immoral/unlawful things those will never bear fruit-Dharma will ultimately prevail(Kaurav had all the sadhan for winning the war-excellent army,innumerable warriors,soldiers,weapons,money etc,,,but since they were on the wrong side everything was useless).
>A woman's honour is the utmost thing in a society,a society which fails to protect its women is as bestial as a animal and as disharmonious.
>Blind love for a child ,spoiling the child by sparing the rod will prevent his/her correct moral upbringing(Dhrit& Gandhari's blind love for Duryodhan led to his downfall-).
>We should be willing to pay the price for what we want ,even if our desire is just(Draupadi had to pay for the lives of her children,father& brother for avenging her insult).
