mohit is fab. hes gr8 as shivji n ive seen tt part where he pretended to be krishna. .couldnt connect though. the prob is weve seen him as shivji for around 3 yrs. n seen srj as krishna fr 1 yr. mohit(shivji) have been huge n epic bigger than srj as krishna.. If mohit becomes krishna one will have to shake off both their images in our mind. thts where the problem is.
Also mahabaharat dosent show the story of krishna fully. its just one aspect. now immediately after it another show starts with a different actor playing krishna showing other aspects of his life . i dunno how its going to be.
If the show is mythology based show like MB n mahadev, The best thing would have been to cast SRJ as krishna he's already playing vishnu in the same serial. And people have already loved him in krishna's role. if SRJ is prepared to do it is another matter
