On a side note some of the western scholars have called his proxy for king and king by proxy as well..😊 interesting isn't it?

Yes very much. Tell us more:):)

Exactly my point. He is balanced you see, and reserved. That is fascinating in his character

Oh no.. Calm down girl. That's a real fan in you. Come be our fellow arjunian ( Oops...you already are!!! ) 😆
I feel sorry for your friend.. Arjun is not a child that he won't be able to think. He had the dilemma, and stayed away from decisions but that doesn't mean he can't. Brvxause of his attitude of dilemma he got Geeta gyan.

@bold, that is what I tried to raise in Arjun's AT few months back. Each mahaparva of Mahabharata starts with "Narayanam namskritya, naram chaiva narottamam". Vyasa himself is saying that Mahabharata is about Narayan and Nar. Sigh, very less no. of readers understand this. ANd most of the adaptations simply ignore this..

Two exmaples:

Madeleine Biardeau, the leading French specialist in the Great Epic,
too emphatically links Arjuna with royalty. In spite of the fact that Yudhihira appears as
king in the story, the epic makes Arjuna the figure of the ideal king' (Biardeau 1982:
88). Everything indicates that he is the king symbolically' (Biardeau 1985: 100),
including his name Kirin, le Couronn'.10

Biardeau's pupil Scheuer similarly proposes viewing Arjuna as the king par excellence (1982: 59 n.28). It is Arjuna who, in conformity with his royal character' (ibid.: 96) wins the hand of Draupad, who becomes the wife of all the Pavas.

Wow !! New Title !! Very Intelliget !! And Oh, Elaboration ? It Does Describe The Whole Matter In 4 Words !! After All 70% Of The War Was About Arjun's Arrows (From The Gandeev) And Krishna's Arrows (From His Brain) !!

Coming To The Update, It's So Very Eloquent !!!! This Line Is Filled With Wisdom !!

Definitely Son. Let not your dedication swink in the sea, if not you aim to find the treasure underneath.
