If so many warriors, some of whom were also invincible, come with boons of immortality, then wasn't it unfair for the Pandavas too?

Pandavas also had Krishna who was atleast a Mayavi if not a God, then two warriors born to kill two main warriors on the other side, then we know what all Arjun had, Bhima had a boon of immeasurable strength so Pandavas actually outweigh in my opinion.. and in addition to that, all three main warriors of Kaurava side had soft spot for Pandavas. So the war was unfair to Kauravas IMO

if someone believes his son is immortal why will he even go to Yudi for clarifying?

No he was immortal/invincible because of his gem.. Krishna cursed him with immortality after he lost it.. This is after Karna is killed.. But no idea why Drona believed the half truth inspite of this

Then Drona's son, catching hold of Duryodhana's hand, and adopting a soothing tone, addressed thy son, saying, "Be gratified, O Duryodhana! Make peace with the Pandavas. There is no need for quarrel. Fie on war! The preceptor, conversant with the mightiest of weapons and like unto Brahma itself, hath been slain. Other bulls among men, headed by Bhishma, have also been slain. As regards myself, I am unslayable, as also my maternal uncle. Rule the kingdom for ever, (sharing it) with the sons of Pandu.

Immortal would be the word rather that Invincible, invincible is used for a warrior who cannot be defeated, Aswathama got thrashed by Arjuna quite a many times.

Hmm. But I think it was a matter of perspective here. The Kauravas had a much larger army remember? The only thing that balances the act was Lord Krishna's presence.
Yes, the soft spot was there no doubt. But that didn't stop Bhishm from wreaking havoc just before his death. Drone, too, was unstoppable, if I'm not wrong. And Karna too killed the maximum no of soldiers, among the Kaurava maharathis. And despite all the soft spot, Drone did not mind Abhimnyu's killing, the way it happened. So, yes, the Pandavas did have some advantage, especially for being Bhishma's favourites, but the Kauravas too had many advantages with larger army, and invincible warriors with immortality tags.
But that is my opinion.

Amba already took a rebirth to kill Bhishma and Karna already donated his Kavach and Kundal, so these two immortals were not really immortals at the time of war.

Pandavas were in advantage even before the war, Bhishma and Drona already had a soft spot for the Pandavas, they already told that they wont kill any of the Pandavas, so the only person who could kill the Pandavas was Karna, Krishna smartly disclosed the truthamd weakened him mentally. I know people will say that how is that Karna got weakened?. When Kunti approached Karna, she did not ask for anything, it was Karna himself who gave her the boon of sparing his 4 brothers ( While Arjuna had Krishna already ), this showed that Karna did not wanted to kill his brothers.

While Kaurava were larger in numbers, Pandavas were stronger mentally.

Hmm. We all have our own opinion. Yes, the Pandavas were spared by various means. But I am talking about the war in general. When I said it was unfair for the Pandavas, I meant that it was unfair for the Pandavas for the overall war. The lives of the Pandavas were spared through emotional blackmailing and soft-spots, no doubt. But the others' were not.

Amrita I agree with the large army part and am also stating my opinion based on the overall war facts.. Bheeshma Drona and Karna were almost not fighting for Kauravas.. when the commanders are not for the army, why would the size matter? IMO Dury deserves sympathy.. or even he was foolish to call for the war inspite of knowing Bheeshma and Drona

The Pandavas in this serial have no comparison with the ones, in the epic. The Pandavas in this serial cry like babies, beg for lives, instead of fighting like warriors, and this Yudisthir even discloses all strategies to the enemy.
