I guess it was her strength. Which woman has the guts and also the presence of mind to pose questions on morality, when she gets to know that her husband practically staked her like a thing, that also, after being dragged by her hair by her brother-in-law, half-dressed, in her season!!
She was one great woman. Love her or hate her, but we just can't ignore her.

I know, my answer will be a bit controversial, but please don't feel bad. Well, I get irritated at times to see, how a post on Karna is treated in this forum. Most posts are made on Karna, as he is a very complicated character. But any post that has "Karna" on it, starts with a certain intention, then people jump in; some to blame Karna and some to defend him with equal vigour, providing hundreds of contradictory citations from various parts of KMG, then starts personal attacks, the TM is accused for "trying to be famous", and the whole topic gets diverted from the main idea of the post, and then the topic gets closed by the moderators. Please don't mind, but this is wat I have seen happening again and again and again on this forum. I have mentioned it in another thread as well. I know, no one can be blamed in particular for this. But this just happens somehow, most of the times. Don't u think so?
Apart from draupadi, which other female character in Mahabharat you like ?
Subhadra. She was sweet, beautiful and Draupadi's friend, and also sister to the Lord.
