I agree that history is written by the victor but we have no choice accept believing it as no one remained from the losers side to tell the story

How can we believe some ones fan fiction as Duryodhan's POV???

@bold- which is the only reason ..I dont consider them as just mere villains.
If it is fan fiction then probably no.. but if it has certain base then why not. Why do people in some areas respect and worship these so called villains? Where do these myths come from? Why is there a temple worship n all for them...Some things that I would like to research about or know about ..

like we discussed some days back, if a book says 'Karna saw Abhimanyu as his nephew and never wanted to kill him and hence never participated in his killing' that would sound 🤢 But if it says 'Karna had a soft corner and hence did not fire any celestial weapon on him' then the bulb glows 😃

We have two options to believe here
Option 1 Mahabharata never happened, it's not authentic history and a written drama like Othello.
In this case Vyas is the author and any other work is a fan fiction and should be taken that way

Option 2 Mahabharat really happened . A and B fought over property A won B and his family died. A got his side of the story recorded which got some changes over the years. Unfortunately no one remained to tell B's side . 5000 Years passed and then came c who wrote B's side. But can that be called B's side??? Won't it again only be c's imagination of B's side.

So really we have no choice but to go by a 's side

He told me before you...Embarrassed..I am still narrating it..😉Embarrassed

i thought condition was that only if in grave danger you can use the shakti

I got to re-read.. also when we think of the question why he dint use the Shakti, we also got to think of why Arjuna dint kill Karna that day? it was his vow afterall..

@bold - yes and we have it very much in the source that they were not.. does not need a fan fiction..

@red - No it is not fanfiction but distorted truth and may be biased. if it were fan fiction we wont find any negatives of the protagonists at all published.. so if I assume Pandavas were glorified as they were winners, I also have to assume Karna also was glorified coz he was the uterine brother of the winners afterall..
