He did not do it alone. Bheem & Satyaki caused the same destruction.

People have an idea that - 7 Akshounis were killed on 14th day, which obviously is over-exaggerated, 7 Akshounis were killed till the 14th day not only on the 14th day. Actually, I read this somewhere. ( Citation would be helpful about 7 akshnouis being killed on the 14th day )

O king, went to Drona, O bull of Bharata's race, for seeing him. Repairing unto him, he informed Drona of that immense slaughter of the Kurus, the victory of his foes, and the dire calamity of the Dhartarashtras. 1 And Suyodhana said, 'Behold, O preceptor, this immense slaughter of kings. 2 I came to battle, placing that grandsire of mine, viz., the heroic Bhishma, at our head. Having slain him, Sikhandin, his aspiration fulfilled, stayeth at the very van of all the troops, surrounded by all the Panchalas, covetous of another triumph. 3 Another disciple of thine, viz., the invincible Savyasachin, having slain seven Akshauhinis of troops hath despatched king Jayadratha to Yama's abode. How, O preceptor, shall I be freed from the debt I owe to those allies of mine who, desirous of victory to me and ever engaged in my good, have gone to Yama's abode? Those lords of earth who had desired the sovereignty of the earth, are now lying on the earth, abandoning all their earthly prosperity.

The citation above does not mention of 7 Akshounis being killed on the 14th day, it renowes Arjuna's accomplishment of how he killed 7 akshounis till the 14th day, not only on the 14th day. Arjuna, being the best warrior of his side, has been atributed for whole armies slaughter, though Bhima & Satyaki caused carnage also.

Anyways, thanks for the citation.

One thing SP does well - the portrayal of emotions

It was a very well executed episode- aesthetically done with no OTT emotions.

The contrast between the two warring parties was well portrayed. The camera work with bluish tones was very symbolic of the mood in the Pandav camp.

Ganga jal vs soma rasa in their earthen pots

Silent tears vs premature celebration

Loved Bhishma's compassion for the unknown soldier whom he gave ganga jal in his dying moments

'Paraajaya ke bina saamarth kaise badhega?" Good dialogue by Bhishma but the chandaal chowkdi were totally in character today...

It was good to see Panchali today but henceforth, she will be a non stop resource of tears and compassion for all the bereaved women.

Poor Uttara- she did a great job with her emotions: relieved to see Abhimanyu alive but shattered by her brother's death.

I'm glad they are focusing on the perils of war- even if it's a just war. Dharma yudh is still a yudh as Krishna said.

[DIV well said bheegi! sp did display the emotions subtly in today episode. abt the contrast between both camps I liked it. today most relevant dialog for me was from krish "bhale hi ye dharm yudhdh ho par h to yudhdh hi na." that's what is the truth. its not like using a magic wand the good /right side wins and will have no loss.its not possible in reality.

Very emotional but somehow dissatisfying episode

Positives are many
1) The juxtaposition of Pandav and Kaurav camps

2) Virat and Sudeshna - no melodrama, just pure shock and misery

3) Uttara. Could not have been easy holding her own with an actress like Pooja, but she did. The anxiety, the relief followed by shock😭👏

4) UPs. The excitement of war is gone and reality has set in. Abhi too. But the UPs showed it better in the split second shot

5) Rohit, beginning to end. Yudhi is not my fav character but I can actually imagine epic Yudhi reacting like this

6) Pooja, needless to say

7) Panchali remembering vansh ka naash and gaze landing on Dhrisht while holding Uttara😭👏

8) Pitamah with wounded soldiers in the tent while DDSK are celebrating. True senapathi that👏

9) Shalya's guilt

Negatives
1) The lighting. I understand it is supposed to be night. But it is also a show and I dont want to squint to see. The sepia tone was annoying enough!

2) Vijay aur parajay eeshwar par chod deejiye?! I am glad he didnt already forget the Gita but senapathi is talking about the morale of the rank and file soldiers who need a pep talk. Ding ding, wrong answer!

3) Pandavs except for Yudhi. Poor emoting

4) I am going to be in a minority of one here. Did not like Sakha Sakhi eyelocks. Panchali - Sad and accusatory? Govind - Sad and looking away?😕 After the 2 weeks of the emotional battery called Krishna Leela they should have shown a softly fiery but determined Panchali with a tranquil and equally determined Krishna. No words needed, just a different vibe to eyelocks. Instead they are keeping on beating the same horse. This duo has tremendous talent and amazing timing; SP used them well in the beginning. But now, ?????

A good episode though.😊
That blue color scheme really reflected the sadness at Pandava Camps.😭
But when they were burning Uttar's body,it seemed as dawn to me.😕

Virat and Sudeshna were good enough,Sudeshna, thank god, did not gave sarcastic comments or a tear flood.😛

Uttara - Nice, showed the true shock of a sister at his bro's death.⭐️

Drishtha - First time,he seemed as a real commander and talked about the good of the soldiers.😳

What was that flagish thing which Dury wore?

=======================================

Previous Epi:

The StarB has depicted Uttar's death so dramatically.Total a degradation of his brave character.🤢

* Uttar might have shot an arrow at Shalya. He did have a bow with him.😕😕

* He might unfurl that DANGER FLAG in the sky.😃

* Bheeshma shot the sword/mace/arrow at the chariot and surprisingly, it started flying. What a magic!!👏

* Drsihtha came to know about Yudhi being in helpless situation - How?⭐️🥱

* Bheem - What a slow pace he has!😳
