Thank God you updated it finally.It was so cute.Loved how you portrayed Radha maa.And the part where Jishnu complains about the bow and arrow was cute.And the Vrisha-Vrishali part was superb

Radha already learnt about everything from Shon. Basu found her waiting at door. He gasped nervously in front her scrutinizing eyes that were sharply placed on bows on his shoulder. Basu failed to find suitable explanation of which immediately. And bent his head down.
" Radhama please don't scold Vrishaji, he is very worried now." requested Vrishali seeing Basu standing silently.
Radha didn't expect Vrishali here. Neither Shon did, who was standing beside Radha.
" Vrishali didi when did you come?" asked Shon.
"Just today." Basu answered before Vrishali says anything. To turn Radhama's attention from his bow. " So i asked to come and visit Radhama." he blabbered
"and you were needed Padma in your defence? " asked Radha gravely.
Basu lowered his eyes at once. Vrishali and Shon too were confused what to tell. And then only
" Basu bhaiya where are we?" childish tone ranged from Basu's arm.a weak Jishnu somehow managed to ask lifting his head from Basu's shoulder.
At once everyone's attention was on Jishnu.
"oh my god the child is bleeding and i was engaged to scold Basu." Radha curses herself and took Jishnu in her arm hurriedly.
"Padma can you bring some hot water?" asked Radha while rushing inside home.
" Sure Radhama." Vrishali also followed her.
Basu sighed in relief and smiled at Shon.
"Bhaiya you had his blood all over you. It seems you himself are injured. Shon exclaimed with an open mouth.
Basu looks at himself. "yes after all everyone's blood is red. Have to freshen myself." he nods and runs to the nearby well with Shon.

Radha washed Jishnu's wounds and bandaged him. Removing his saffron clothes of vanvasi and dressed him up with Basu's childhood cloths. Because Shon's childhood cloths were not fitting him they were quite tight for him. But Basu's ones has fit him perfectly. There is certain similarity between feature of this child with Basu of his age. Wonders Radha.
Vrishali in the meantime had brought a glass of warm thick milk with saffron cloves, kesar milk is regarded good for health. Although Vrishali's father is chief of Sutas and being relatively affluent than other sutas including Adhirath but Vrishali from very childhood has habit of getting involved in household works herself. Another reason why Radhama likes Padma, she has no pride of being Suta princess.
"drink the milk son. You will feel stronger" Radha brought the glass to Jishnu's lips. But Jishnu seemed unwilling to drink.
"where is Basu bhaiya?" asked Jishnu not finding Basu around.
"he will come later. You drink the milk first" said Radha.
" no Basu bhaiya promised me he will let me hold his bow if i obey his words. I wont drink until he brings his bow" pouted Jishnu.
Radha tried to force Jishnu to drink the milk but the boy is adamant. " i want to see that beautiful bow." he started sobbing.
"such desperation for seeing a bow? He must be a royal Kshatriya.perhaps a prince whose misfortune compelled his family to lead a forest dweller's life." thinks Radha. But such desperation is not completely unknown to her. Why this child's behaviour has certain similarity with of Basu? May be Basu too is a royal Kshatriya by birth.
Being unable to make Jishnu drinking milk Radha turns to Vrishali.
" Padma call Basu to come here. I know he is afraid of facing me. But tell him i wont say him anything till the child is here. Else this boy wont eat or drink unless he sees Basu." says Radha.
Vrishali at once exited to find Basu. It was exactly what she wanted Radhama to not to scold Basu.
In the backyard of house Basu and Shon were trying to study after freshen themselves. Basu had decided not to face Radhama for a while. Hence he had concentrated to write some hymns taught in gurukul with a feather pain on leaf.
Shon was trying to run a chariot wheel smoothly. When Vrishali came there.
" Vrishaji Radhama is calling you."
Basu although was delighted but still hesitated .
" Radhama is not angry on me? " he asks.
"a little bit but your newly found brother is rejecting to drink milk until you bring your bow to him as per your promise. Hence Radhama said she wont say you anything till he is there." says Vrishali sweetly.
"oh Jishnu saved me this time." Basu sighs in relief.
" but bhaiya Jishnu is not your brother. I am." Shon pouted.
"ofcourse you are Shon, why do you worry? See Jishnu is here for a small time and you are with me forever." Basu squeezed Shon's shoulder but Shon didn't seem much convinced.
" Vrishaji do hurry,else the child will become ill." says Vrishali impatiently.
"you are right Vrishali" Basu picked up his bow and rushed.
As soon as Basu enters with the bow Jishnu's son turned into innocent giggle.
"Bow" he held his hand out to touch the bow.
"Jishnu at first drink the milk, then only you can touch it." ordered Basu and to Radha's surprise Jishnu emptied the glass just as an obedient brother.
Radha then feeds Jishnu rice and vegetables and looking at the bow Jishnu finished his meal without any delay.
Basu was sitting on the bed. Jishnu crawled to his lap after Radha freed him for her other household works.
"Bhaiya bow." again the childish voice demands.
"okey you can only touch now. But you cant wield it now, your skin is too soft for that and then you have bandage." says Basu and Jishnu pouts. He touches the bow silently.
Basu ruffled Jishnu's thick silky wavy hair affectionately. Too pampered the boy is. "looks like none in your family scolds you." says Basu.
"no mata scolds sometimes but pitashree stops her then and chhotima hides me in her anchal with nakku and dev, then Briko bhaiya does something so mata starts to scold him and at last Dharma bhaiya pacifies her and makes things alight.
"looks like a big family." Basu couldn't imagine ever even in forest there can be a normal family life like in their village.
The remark might remind Jishnu of his parents and brothers.
"I want to go back to them." says Jishnu.
"ofcourse you will. But today it will take evening to go back . And in darkness you cant find your family. So you have to stay here tonight. I promise i myself will take you to your family tomorrow morning." says Basu. Radhama already told him Jishnu has to stay here tonight as he needs rest. Basu was feeling quite happy about that, he has started liking this cute boy. Somewhat similar to him.
Jishnu thinks for a while and then says. "will you take me to see this place?"
The cute tone was quite demanding Basu couldn't think of denying. He has a strange habit that he feels difficulty to say no to anyone.
"sure i will." Basu ruffled Jishnu's hair again.
When Radha again enters the room finds Jishnu sitting on Basu's lap and both are giggling in some innocent fun.
"they are looking like two brothers" thinks Radha.
Then only her eyes stuck on Basu's neck . There was still a patch of red mark, Basu forgot to wash the blood mark on his throat from Jishnu's hand. But its looking like there is a wound that too on a very sensitive point of Basu's neck.
Some uncanny feeling trembled Radha suddenly.
