"When...what?"

Panchaali was feeling restless in her room, alone and irritated for no suitable reason. Yudhishtir came in, and saw her talking to a dasi about giving her some news.

On seeing Yuddhi Paanchaali felt relieved . She said Arya,...suddenly dury started shouting on a daasi loudly as if his sounds cld reach her chamber

Yudhi and Drau rushed to see what had happened, what they saw was,Dury was shouting at that daasi as she was not punctual and made it very late to get the dish he had ordered.

It was a bright morning in Indraprastha. Citizens looked very happy, and the royal ladies were busy at chores. But in the corner of the royal palace were two columns - a short, rather fat column, and a long, slender column. If everyone was not so busy tending to the day's chores, they would have noticed that for a second there faces seemed to form on the two stumps. Gradually over time, the short, fat column become a hunchbacked man with a beard as black as the night sky and the tall, slender column become a handsome, muscular man with a mustache long and thin that kissed his cheeks. The both men left the palace as soon as they gained their human form. In the rightmost part of the palace of Indraprastha,in the garden,was a prince Arjuna with his best friend Madhav learning some tactics of breaking a chakravyuh. Suddenly, a worried sound came from the kitchen, "Aaaryaaa"...Dhananjaya realised that it was his wife Subhadra.He said to madhav "Might be abhimanyu has done some mischief he is just like you Madhav" and rushed in a hurry.

Arjun's eyebrows lowered and with the agility and grace of a panther, he rushed toward his jaan, his life, his love. 'Paarth, why are you going westward?' asked Krishna, 'Subhadra is in the East wing'. Madhav said "Parth, but you just said you will go to Subhadra". He said, "No Madhav I have just realised I was supposed to be with Panchaali now and she is in the west wing...

They both were talking and soon the second time they heard, "Arya" in a very helpless tone like someone was in danger. They both now hurrily rushed to the kitchen.They were shocked to see there Subhadra. She lay on the floor of the kitchen and flour on her head completely. A 3 year old abhimanyu stood smiling beside her.Dasis were away from her as all the honey and flour was on her head. On seeing this, Arjuna and Krishna jointly burst in a roared laughter. Abhimanyu ran towards his mamashree. Then,Vasudev said,"Subhadre,What is all this?" 'Did you do this?', asked Arjun. 'Yes, but he made me do this', said Abhimanyu pointing to a small hunchbacked man. When Arjun and Krishna turned around, they were stunned to see who that was. It was Batukeshwar maharaj.

Subhadra replied "These are the deeds of your nikhatoo bhanja" while she was dusting all the powder on the face. Parth extended his hand to help her but slipped due to the honey. Suddenly,Paanchaali arrived. She shouted, "Subhadra, Arya, Govind,What is this? You three are here and Subhadra, what happened to you????" Suthanu, Shrutsom and Shatanik said in a low voice ,"Mata it is not our mistake." Abhimanyu said "Please do not punish me" Panchali looked around and said, 'What is this room?' I havent been here before."We know", said everyone else.

Soon, the other four Pandavas arrived there. Bheem and others started laughing on seeing the situation there. Bheem gave Arjuna a hand and then Arjuna picks up Subhadra. Then,Govind says to Paanchaali, "Sakhi the actual culprit is my son Bhanu who is the master mind behind the whole plan." Subhadra says "But Bhanu is not here". Madhav pulls Bhanu by his ear who was hiding behind a giant container.

"Sakhi my sister's childishness is not yet gone". Madhav smiles. Subhadra says, "Bhrata you also!". Panchali laughed at this and on seeing Batukeshwar maharaj she said "Pranipaat" and welcomed him to the court. While moving towards the court they saw somebody waiting at the huge gate of the palace.

It was...Duryodhan. On seeing him,the five Pandavas took out their weapons...Duryodhan also took out his mace n from back, Dusshashan also comes in front. But then Yudhishthir asked them to calm down and said that Duryodhan was their guest. Bheem glared at Duryodhan with anger but had to welcome him to the Indraprasth Palace. Duryodhan as usual was his arrogant self. Draupadi too had bad feeling about this visit. Dhritrashtra had sent Duryodhan and Dusshashan to Indraprasth with gifts and his so called 'Blessings " for the Pandavas and their children, as he was 'happy' to see Pandavas as fathers now. Duryodhan explained this to them [he was mesmerized when he saw the IP palace] and asked them whether he could stay there for a few days as he wanted to spend some nice time with them and their children . On hearing this,Draupadi said cunningly,"Aarya! We can have them in the royal rest house outside the city,can't we?" Bheem too said,"Yes Bhrata!That's a nice suggestion,it will not insult our guests also we will be delighted." Then Yudhishtir says "No Draupadi. We cannot do that. My Tatshree has send us his blessings through Duryodhan, in short he is his representative. Tatshree is pujniya and Duryodhan is our brother. He has to be in our palace not in some royal rest outside the city, as he will feel neglected which is not good. Besides that royal rest is for those who want to rest before coming here. Not for someone who is our family and has come to spend some time". Yudhisthir says "They're not just our guests but also cousins. We just can't make them stay anywhere else than the palace ." . Krishna cuts in n says " But currently they're to be considered as guests since they've arrived from another state and we do not know what brings them here yet . So jyesth since you are, please think like a Chakravarti Samrat . No guests take out weapons before those whom they visit and do not intend to cause any disfunction . Please agree to what sakhi and bhrata Bheem are saying ." To this Yudhishtira says " I understand, but we can't just attack them for holding weapons!"

Krishna then agrees but silently takes another form and reads Duryodhan's mind. He finds out that he finds that Duryodhan was at that time mesmerized by the beauty of the palace .

Yudhishtir says ,"I have thought both politically and emotionally. It was my brothers who took out their weapons first this is not what one does with a guest. This punishable offense. They should and will be punished. Duryodhan and Dusshashan took out weapons for their protection which does not go against any rules.They are my brothers and representative from another state. They ought to stay in my Palace,besides royal rest is for people wanting rest before coming here.This is my aadesh.

"Meanwhile Subhadra and all the kids went together to get cleaned up fast so they could also greet their guest not knowing who has come. When Subhi and the children go to meet the new guest they see Duryodhan and Dusshashan walking in the corridors ,and Subhadra was extremely shocked. Duryodhan and Dusshashan were guided to their chambers by dasis who wore golden ornaments. They were shocked to see their beautiful room .He shut the door behind him and started saying bad things about Pandavas and comparing each with some animal.Bu t Nakul was passing by and heard Duryodhan comparing Sahadev with a snail. Nakul felt offended but remembered Yudhishtir's words which made him control his anger. But he decided to share this with Panchaali, and was about to walk off from their door when Dusshashan came out. He shouted at Nakul "Is this how you treat your guest in Indraprastha? I saw you hearing our conversation through the window. Bhrata Duryodhan was right comparing you with a dirty cat who looks very calm and steal things when you are not aware . Nakul's face was red with anger. Hearing this Nakul said "okay bhrata dusshasan, come to the corridor on the third floor at midnight & there we can see if I am a cat or a tiger. Come alone if you are a true Kshatriya. Dusshashan grew furious but Panchaali suddenly came there who was watching all the things. Panchaali said,"Rajkumar Dusshashan, Aarya was not wrong ,he was merely bringing me the flowers near the room's window.Then,Duryodhan also comes out and whispers something in Dusshashan's ears. Dusshashan smirks, and asks Panchaali to bring him some water. Since Panchaali already had dasis behind her, and she takes the matka and gives it to Dusshashan when both the princes laughed. Neither Nakul nor Panchaali understood the amusement in taking a water matka. Panchaali marched to leave, before which she came in front of Dusshashan and said "The way you are laughing on us,the whole court will laugh on you!Remember my words. " Nakul and Paanchali leaves from there and go to Bheem and Arjun. Panchaali narrated the entire incident to Bheem and Arjun. Bheem starts laughing at Nakul , "oh now you are being compared to cat! i did like the meow sound today in kitchen. I will make laddoos in shape of mouse and treat Dusshashan. But Arjun's words were "They will insult us in our own palace!" Bhrata Yudhishtir should do something. Then,the five accompainied with Sahadev went to Saaraat. Here,they were shocked to see Yudhishtir with Duryodhan.

The five [Bheem, Arjun, Nakul , Sahdev and Draupadi] were shocked to see the scene of Yudhishtir's room. Bheem felt like breaking Duryodhan's head there but he controlled himself. Panchaali angrily shouted, "Samraat, I want to talk to you about something important. Please come and meet me in my chambers." Then Yudhistira says, "No, we cant live our guest alone." He continues with what he was doing with avid interest, and with the least amount of realization on what it would lead do. Dusshashan smirked from behind Duryodhan, while Arjun gestured Panchaali and the others to leave. After which he himself went near Yudhishtir. On seeing the smirking Dusshashan he felt like just hitting him on his head .He then tried to observe what they were doing. He was shocked.

'Jyesht!' Arjun cried. 'You are playing dice!' Have forgotten that you are a member of Aryavarta GA?" 'SHHH', said Yudhishtir, 'I am more worried about Panchali finding out rather than GA" "Ok jyesth. I promise I will not tell Panchaali." said Arjun. " Panchaali won't know from me. But please stop palying. This is an addiction. If someone else tells Panchaali, it will become a gossip. I am scared thinking of the punishment! Have you forgotten last time when.." "When...what?" Yudhishtir said. "Arjun I was just playing this as an interest, and its ok if Panchali comes to know, I was just saying like that. She is my wife she should know about me. Go from here now,I will meet you all in just a few moments."

After some time he went to Draupadi's room to tell her what had happened. On seeing Yudhishtir Panchaali felt relieved. She said "Arya". Suddenly Duryodhan started shouting on a daasi loudly that the sounds could reach her chamber ...

They both rushed out to see Dushassan shouting at the Daasi. What they also saw was a tall man walking up to Dushassan behind him. The second man's mustache was long and droopy just like Cousinshree Dushassan's

The tall man licked his lips as he placed his hands near his waist. With one quick move, he pushed Dushashana to the left and he, himself, darted forward inserting the blade of the dagger he held into the stomach of the poor dasi. Laughing like a maniac and licking his lips as if coated with the sugary flavor of lollipops, he turned his crazed attention to the greatest samragini of all times - Panchaali.
