Am an oriya and in the Rath yatra she is treated as Shakti herself alongwith Shri Krishna and Balaram.. whether it is a cultural modification or not am not aware but tht is what I have been taught since childhood..in fact she is dressed and decorated before her brothers to emphasize the fact tht she is Prakriti..

Have posted more in Krishna Leela thread.

Subhadra is yogamaya. The spiritual energy is called yogamaya. And she has 16 different expansions. Out of these 16 expansions, Subhadra is one. The mahamaya of the material energy is also expansion of the energy of yogamaya; and both yogamaya and mahamaya are equally important to Krishna as much as any government department is equally important for functioning of the government. The police department may be horrible for the criminals, but to the government it is a department as good as university department. Similarly, mahamaya is horrible to the conditioned soul, but to the liberated soul, there is no fear of mahamaya, because he is protected by yogamaya. It is stated in the Bhagavad-gita when Krishna said the following: ''I am not visible to everyone on account of being curtained by yogamaya.'' So when a conditioned soul surrenders unto Krishna, the yogamaya winds up the curtain and Krishna is visible to the devotee.

But Arjun is not incarnation of Shiva so how can Subhadra b an incarnation of Parvati/Yogmaya/Narayani... 😕

Divya may b she's worshipped as Subhadra n not Yogmaya

N I m really pleasantly surprised wid veebha as yogamaya!!! I m glad they shwd it...n wen krishna looked at her while explaining abt yogamaya...it ws veryyy sweet

Ohk now that Subhadra is proved as yogmaya disscussing about the episode for me it was a feel good episode.Little krishna was really cute ..

But what I loved the most was

the enire slogan of Dharmo rakshati rakshita was conveyed beautifully.I loved the sequence when Kanha mentioned about how paandavas and draupadi were rescued because of the fact that they abide dharma.
