yup, it would have been a divine treat, but alas, it did not happen. btw, i think we might see maa durga in monday, as yogmaya played a part in the birth of lord vishnu.

The actor playing the bard was perfect, how storytellers should be, invoking images of the story in front of your eyes. He must have done theatre as well to pick up that body language.

Shukriya shukria😆

So Shakuni is stupid enough to try to capture him. Ab pata chakega what is maya lol

1) What do you know, our prediction came true! We should be scripting for ⭐️Bharat

2) I like the interplay between Sakha and Sakhi and how she looked at her sons and Abhimanyu. I also like the little 'what do you do' look from Krishna when Subhadra interrupted
3) Why is Panchali sitting apart from every one else at the kids' table though?!😕. I did not get a clear look at the seating but thought Subhadra actually got to sit with the Pandavs but not poor Panchali😡

4) Vasudev is yummy, with mukut and without mukut, without beard and with beard. I guess as Krishna's bio dad he cannot be anything else😉
5) How the heck did they manage 8 putrs with all those chains?🤣
6) In a long time, I heard Kunti referred to as Pritha
7) Now I know why Pandu and Kuntibhoj did not attack when they heard of the imprisonment
8) Kans actor actually walked on all those poor extras! I hope the pay was worth it. He must have weighed a ton!

9) I though Krishna was the dark one, not Vishnu

"Bhaye pragat Kripala din dayala Kusalya hit kari...
Lochan abhilama TANNU GHANSYAMA nij ayudh bhuj chaari..
Bhushna gal mala nayana visala sobha sindhu kharari..."

Meaning

I adore Lord Vishnu
who is the embodiment of peace,
who lies on the Shesha serpent,
whose navel is the source of the Lotus,
whose complexion is like the clouds,
whose body shines with heavenly beauty,
who is the beloved of Goddess Lakshmi,
whose eyes are like Lotus,
who is meditated upon by the yogis,
who is the remover of the fear of the world-process.

Vishnuji's Megha Varnam- colour dark as clouds

LMAO, you are howlarious😆
my sanskrit is bad too but I will translate what I have understood

And the ever merciful Lord appeared before Kaushalya
Oh how happy was she to see him
He of the lotus eyes
of skin color so dark
and his four arms holding his symbols
a jeweleld necklace around his neck
looking at her so lovingly
He in all His Glory

"koi kahe Ranchod tujhe aur koi kahe bhagoda, tu hi jaane kiska ran tune ran pranghan ko choda"

P.S. I love the way Vibha says Arya; she says it even better than Pooja

I enjoyed the episode much more than I thought I would... it's undoubtedly jarring and disruptive of the flow of the show, but I have loved and revered VasuDevaki since I was a toddler watching them in Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna and get excited to see them acknowledged at all, let alone enacted. Bonus if they're enacted well - this casting beats the past two 21st century attempts at the characters by miles. And yeah, the storyteller bit was very cool, I liked when they did it while Gandhari was pregnant and it's even better now. Regarding why the Pandavs, Subhadra, and Draupadi would need to hear a story they should already know, I think the storyteller answered that very well - "jo inke nikat hai, unhone aaj tak inke mahatva ko aur inke saamarthya ko kabhi samjha hi nahin. Kintu mujh jaise vyakti ne - saamaanya vyakti ne - inke jeevan ko dur se na keval dekha hai, kintu samjha bhi hai." We often take people for granted if we see them every day, but when some third person gives them recognition for something we realize how awesome they are. Similarly the other characters could very well know and have seen Krishna's miracles firsthand, but still in having the fortune of dealing with him every day as a friend/brother/son it's easy to lose track of his divinity. That is Yogmaya's whole job.
