For Draupadi's insult, yes Yudi staked her, but EVERYBODY insulted her - Duri asked her to sit on his lap, Karna called her a w****, Dushi dragged her with her hair...

Why only yudi all other pandavas are to be blamed as well

They may not have physically staked Drauapdi but their silent acceptance of yudi's action was their affirmation as well. One can say that they didnt protest because they didnt want to go against their elder brother but still at end of the day they agreed to Draupadi's staking for sake of their elder brother.

If some one needs to be blamed yudi should get max blame undoubtedly but other panadavs arent blameless even they didn't do anything to stop Yudi Yes Bheem did protest after yudi had staked Draupadi same could have been done before the staking may be all brother's together could knock some sense in yudi.Yudi is to be blamed undoubtedly but other pandavas cant go scott free

i dont think so
From what i remember Dury was jealous after seeing Pandavas sucess and was irritated with the way they had laughed at him hence shakuni came up with this way to take away the kingdom from panadavs. Draupadi's staking and vastaraharam was just an added bonus it was never planned i think

however karna does suggest Draupadi's staking doesn't he so may be it was planned. Can any one clarify this who suggests Draupadi's staking to yudi?

Everyone in the room is to be blamed don't forget the stupidest one of them all Maharaj Dhritarashta! How he sat there while not uttering a word is beyond me!
Of Course Yudi is at fault but everyone just sat there either silently or insulted Drauapadi supported the cause of injustice!
For that one act ...destruction of the Kauravas inevitable!

Maybe when Draupadi refused to come out they decided to bring her out this way...I don't think it was planned either...

I have a question here. As far as I know the KMG translation does not mention anything about Shakuni's dice being loaded as is often believed. (if there is any mention, please do enlighten me). So did Shakuni win by fraud and deceit or did he win purely because he was more skilled at dice then Yudisthir? This brings into focus the dice game itself, it's rules and how it was played. How much of luck was involved and how much skill, and which was the deciding factor when it came to winning.
Later in the epic, during the Pandavas' exile, Yudisthir gets lessons in playing dice from somebody whose name I cannot recollect at the moment, and he also becomes an expert at it. He demonstrates this expertise in the Virata court I think. So this shows that dice at that time was a well developed game, which one had to master.

About Yudi- I remember reading somewhere about why the otherwise righteous and wise Yudi would have a weakness for dice. It theorized how Yudi must have been eventually burdened with the image of being the 'dharmaputra'. How he strove to live up to people's and his own expectations of always doing the 'right' thing. This cannot be an explanation of his slip-up during the dice game ofcourse. But maybe gambling was his way of venting out his frustrations. (as per that article)

Oh No! I just thought of this- Did the CVs come up with the 'shastraharan' (thanks Vrish for coining this term) to justify Karna's role in Drau's humiliation?!

Drau's humiliation was not planned.. Plan was to win over the kingdom.. and Draupadi's stake was suggested by Shakuni.. no one protested it before she was brought in and tortured..
