And there is this version out there where draupadi had scoffed at all these great mighty men, monsters and saints.
Taunted them for being cowards and stripped herself naked.Everyone was so shocked and dumped that just stared at her.
Later vidur came up with "what happens in dice hall stays in the dice hall". And they came up with this story of dushi stripping her (which he was about to) to save their faces.

kudos to them for creating such,a strong Droupathy..She understood that none of the warriors including her husbands at the sabha were able to save her pride..

Still she didn't lose hope..decided to fight with the fire in her eyes and heart..She had belief in herself..

I like Droupathy this way a lot more than,the original one..

Me too like this Drapadi... Even if they have distorted, I love this strong, feary and darer Draupadi.

And stardraupadi is taunting him to come and try his own luck while she is staking her honor, gambeling it away with the confidence she has on that one promise krishna made to her.
All these men have failed her, not rising their hands to simply strangle those monsters.
Now that one piece of cloth she tied on krishnas hand will be her saving grace.
She is putting all the faith she has got in her "ishwar" and she calls him govind.

The only real Mahabharat I know of is the Sanskrit version of Veda Vyas. I have not read it nor can I. But I will not believe any other version written by any translater. I like this show. Yes it is glorified. So were the Pandavas not worth any glory? They are our heros and no book can compile all their glories. This is a story that has lived centuries on every hindu's tongue.

There's a huge difference between inviting and challenging.Draupadi challenged Dushasan because she knew her Govind will protect her. She did say that nobody in this sabha is able to protect her and now the only person she can depend on is Govind and He is the only one who'll protect her self respect.

I do not like books that glorify the anti heros like Karna and Duryodhan. This is a great show with great logic.

Draupadi's speech?! Which women of honor being raped will only cry and not fight and not remind people of their duties?

She had the power to influence all her 5 husbands destroy the hundred cousins. I am sure it was not done without any words from her mouth.

So did Draupadi go sit on Duryodhan's lap for his crummy money like Karna? Was she to stand there looking beautiful? She avenged herself and I am sure it was not done without persistence.

It is Karna who could do anything for money. It is very easy to do charity with somebody else's money. He should have asked Duryodhan about his grandma before calling Draupadi names.
