The thing is that HP has got ticked off due to the events of Dwarka, and as per the show, Shakuni now has a personal grudge against Krishna. So, he wants HP to perform Rajsuya yagya before Yudhishtira does. And therefore Duri requests Karna to fight Jarasandha (I think that is what I interpreted from the spoiler).

In other words, we will see Karna v/s Jarasandha as well as Bhim v/s Jarasandha - for the very same reason - successful accomplishment of Rajsuya yagya.
