Times passed but both the desirable brothers seemed not to care, both were lost in their own beautiful magical world. Arjun's melody turned from joyous to melancholic causing eyes filling with tears filling of both the singer and listener bringing out the painful memories in their heart, but first time their heart was not filled with heaviness rather shading tears for loss of their life made them feeling most lite ever, in the effect of the sweetest song of eternal sadness personal sadness seems nothing in comparison to which, All the feelings of them were merging into universal emotions. It seemed the waves of music will continue till eternity. To please her sister in law Mother Parvati Goddess Saraswati herself was creating never ending melodies in Arjun's heart all his emotions were coming out through his songs.
Arjun could continue to sing without getting tired for the whole night, but suddenly his half shut eyes that was looking here and there to get inspiration to sing from beauty of moonlit night fell upon something glittering in nearby forest, what was it? waves of melody stopped abruptly.
Karna had been transported to the land of eternal bliss with the wings of divine music. He fell hard on harsh land of reality with the abrupt end of divine melody. Regaining consciousness he turned his eyes to Arjun to know the reason of his pausing. He saw Arjun inquisitively looking at something as if trying to figure out the identity of that very thing. and surprisingly Karna found Arjun's glare is towards the back of Karna's head. Being curious Karna turned his head back and got alarmed. there was a forest near Ganges, although the part of the forest in Hastinapura was not so deep but it was adjoined end of a dark forest outside the city. There was a huge ancient banyan tree from where the forests starts and that tree was only few meters away from the rock Karna was sitting. Moonlight can't enter among its branches because of the density of its leaves, in night the banyan tree is seeming as an ancient mystery, and behind the mystery two small green ball of fire are glittering, Even a child can tell origin of these green fire balls , two eyes of some wild species, and they are fixed at Karna only.
Karna's warrior instinct got active in no time. His flexible body as hunter got stretched out in the possibility of upcoming danger.
Although the small fire ball were quite away from him, Arjun's warrior self made him getting up and being ready for facing the danger.He wondered how can any wild animal roam in capital Hastinapur , He never had known existence of tiger or lion or even bear in this forest, and why will king of forest leave his kingdom for visiting weak human's land?that's not their nature unlike selfish human to eye upon others kingdom. But yes small beasts like panther or hyena can sometimes come in locality and they are not less ferocious. Arjun cursed himself for being alone till night without Gandiv and Akshay tun. He sighed his Gandiv is inseparable from him but mother's order is greater than everything. mother kunti didn't want his sons to roam with their weapons in Hastinapur that can create insecurity in Kauravas' heart hence he had to leave his Gandiv in his room. Now he has no other arms except a small knife hidden in his waistband. He held that tightly but hesitated to step forward, The target of the eyes is angraj for sure, now what should he do? he can't run away as coward even if enemy is in danger that goes against warrior's character and he can't do that till he is alive but if he steps in then angraj can misunderstand him and think he came to help considering his rival weak. Keeping the proud and egoist nature of Karna in mind that was most expected to Arjun that Karna will take Arjun's intention to help as Arjun's intention to insult Karna. Arjun sighed and decided to wait to see the way Angraj reacts and then plan his next move.
Karna too didn't bring his Vijaya bow since he came here for prayer only, he had no plan to spend time here. He had no other weapons with him , so stood still releasing his only shield his golden armor.
Arjun was in sweat , Angraj is planning to commit suicide or what (and that too in front of his rival !) No matter how much skilled warrior anyone is or does have how much might darkness of night always works in favor of wild beasts. Only archery can save one from them. Arjun for once thought to throw his knife towards angraj's direction so that he can use it but then realized it won't be of much help. Karna is not skilled in using knife or sword, except archery he has knowledge in only wrestling and mace fighting so he can't use the knife to save himself. Arjun got tensed and wondered why is he worrying for Angraj's safety? He would anytime want to kill Karna in battlefield then why is he not able to take the thought of Karna being killed in hand of wild animal?
"perhaps it is because i don't want to let any person or animal take the glory of killing Karna else than me"- Arjun told to himself silently and concentrated on the next step of the burning eyes.
Karna got prepared mentally to face the attack of the beast and waited for the moment, both the brothers stopped breathing in wait for the climax
The fire balls were released in air as if a bow released arrow which indicated the owner of them had been jumped to Karna's direction.
Karna was about to jump to other direction to save himself , Arjun was ready to step in next moment forgetting everything else.
But the fire balls got disappeared.
Both of them were flabbergasted, Karna rubbed his eyes , was it some kind of illusion of this magical evening? Arjun started looking at here and there what was that seriously or was he getting hallucination? How is that possible they both got it? or someone is there to play any trick? any invisible enemy?

In very next moment clearing all the confusions the owner of that green glittering eyes announced own identity from Karna's feet
"Meaw"

👏👏👏 Aru...its the funniest update I have ever read from you...

🤣. 🤣.🤣.🤣. 🤣.

Two greatest warriors of Aryavart,getting scared and being so vigilent coz of a cat!!!

But I felt everything was so picturisque,you kept me really hooked till the end of the update...You are keeping a tight hold on the original characters of Karna and Arjun,even when trying to find their connection and leting them feel it..That is why I do think that you are a really brilliant writer...
