haan becoz jarasandh used to attack every now n then n there ws no peace isiliye they went to dwarika which s part f ocean actually n lord krishna asks samudra dev fr land to build city..as it s surrounded by ocean protection ws better.. after ppl migrated to dwarika mathura ws empty i guess nt ruled by ny 1 in dwapar bt in sum 1or 2 BC it ws under maurya dyanasty n then later kusha dynasty..
