Dhritarashtra Orders To Arrest The Pandavs And Send Them To Jail In Mahabharat

In Star Plus's Mahabharat Next Week,Pandavs & family leave for Hastinapur. Vidur enters the scene & is shocked to see this marriage. Krishna tells him that whatever has happened will bring a revolution in Aryavarta. A heart broken Dhritarashtra decides to pass off the throne to his son Duryodhan & take up sanyaas. Duryodhan's Rajya abhishek ceremony takes place, Dhritarashtra is about to place the King's crown on Duryodhan, when Bheeshma comes & stops the ceremony.Bheeshma stops Duryodhan's Rajya abhishek ceremony & happily announces that Pandavs are coming back to Hastinapur. Pandavs arrive at Hastinapur palace and get a warm welcome , when Gandhari asks Arjun to come forward with Draupadi, Yudhishtir tells everyone that all five brothers have married Draupadi.

Bheeshma shocked.Yudhishtir tells everyone that all five brothers have married Draupadi. Bheeshma shocked, leaves. Bheshma is hurt and tells Vidur that Yudhishtir does not have a right to ascend the throne anymore. Draupadi tells Pandavs that she will speak to Bheeshma, as the problem has risen because of her.Draupadi explains and proves her and Pandavs' purity to Bheeshma.. In courtroom, Duryodhan insults Draupadi & Pandavs and says they shoud be punished for the kind of crime they have committed. Dhritarashtra orders Pandavs & Draupadi to leave Hastinapur .

Yudhishtir stands up for what's right and tells Dhritarashtra that he has no right to punish them as they have committed no crime, Duryodhan further insults Draupadi calling her characterless, here Arjun looses his patience and picks up his bow and aims at Duryodhan. We build the tension. The pandavs on one side - and the kauravs on the other. The kauravs with their arms - and the pandavs - strong, without weapons.

Vidur seeing this tells Dhritarashtra that it is time to divide their land, Kuru rashtra.Bheeshma tells Vidur that their land can never be divided. Duryodhan brainwashes Dhritarashtra to punish the Pandavs and Draupdi. Dhritarashtra orders to arrest the Pandavs and send them to jail. Bheeshma shocked to hear this news.

Duryodhan to have a showdown with Dhritarashtra in Star Plus' Mahabharat

The most controversial wedding in the history of Indian mythology will finally come alive on our TV screens when Draupadi (Pooja Sharma) will get married to the Pandavas in Star Plus' Mahabharat (Swastik Productions).

And apart from this drama, there is one more move that is going to add some tension in the magnum opus. Well, Duryodhan (Arpit Ranka) who saw the Pandavas alive at Draupadi's swayamvar will want to get to the throne before Yuddhishtra (Rohit Bhardwaj) returns to take his position.

And to help Duryodhan, his uncle Shakuni (Praneet Bhatt) will suggest him to take a strong step to get his motive noticed. And this is when Duryodhan will decide to create a scene by doing the Ashwamedha yagya where a horse is to be slaughtered, that according to their culture will be a big crime.

This is when Dhritarashtra (Anoop Singh Thakur) will come and stop him from doing the crime. Duryodhan will get immensely angry and insult his father. He will go the extent of calling him a failed king and how he could not manage his responsibility. He will then suggest that Dhritarashtra should go away from the kingdom and let him be the king.

Will Dhritarashtra agree to his son's demand? Will Duryodhan realise his folly?

When we called up Anoop, he said, "This track will bring forward a lot of more drama to the show. Also now the track will once again focus on Hastinapur and the real plot of Mahabharat will come across."
