They do teach us MB as history in NCERT books😆
Blamed the Britishers man, they totally destroyed our confidence in our own Epics out of their insecurity since our Epics date way way way back than there's and they werent converting the mass without declaring our Ancient history unreliable, unbelievable and complete fantasized farce and destroying it.
I blame the Indians of that time period more ... they were all divided and greedy as chips. If for even one second every single Indian joined together with the same thought - get rid of those British, the course of Indian history would have changed. (I respect Gandhi and his peace movement since it does reflect Krishna's teachings, but in the case of the British, I've always felt that if India attacked the Brits, or even if Patel (not because he's one of "us" -- I'm more of a nationalist than a regionalist) had been in Nehru's place, then maybe India wouldn't be where it is today... of course it could be far worse, but in that case, I wouldn't have dared using the "patel" in my UN 😆😆
[[Sidenote: Gandhi's movement didn't to much, it was mainly the British inability to manage multiple colonies because of the damage it took from those World Wars... It probably acted like a catalyst, but even Gandhi's movement was stretched out so many years.]]
