Yeah, right now, I too am skipping everything else. Normally, I wouldn't dream of skipping parts like the establishment of Indraprastha, and Arjun's exile, but I'll give that a pass for this serial.

How much are you open for Karna-Vrishali track?

btw in my book am about to complete Drona Parva.. Karna Parva I have already read also a little painful to go through so planning to jump over.. where can I find more of Karna in the post war chapters?

Check out the end of Stri and the start of Shanti Parva - first 6 or 7 sections is Narada telling Yudisthir all about Karna & Yudisthir in his 'woe is me & fie upon me' mode. Then in Ashramavasika Parva, where Vyasa brings the dead relatives to meet the living ones - Dhritarashtra/Gandhari meet the Kauravas, the Pandavas & their wives meet their sons - Ghatotkacha, Draupadi's sons, Abhimanyu, Iravana, et al, and Kunti meets Karna. This time, the Pandavas embrace him. (Oh, and there's a small part b4 Dhritarashtra's exile where he wants to do an yagna for Bheeshma, Drona, Karna et al, and Bhima angrily wants them to be done by the Pandavas themselves, and Kunti to do the honors for Karna)

Oh, and in Swargarohan Parva, Yudisthir inquires about Karna, his brothers, his allies & family when he's offered the chance to go straight to heaven and sit w/ Duryodhan 😈

I'll pull out the relevant sections at the start of the next AT, so that we have enough pages to discuss them.

I am fine w/ a Karna-Vrushali track. I'm okay w/ Nazea, although I wish Sriti Jha was playing Vrushali's role.

So my predictions came true...

this is almost same here.. if Starbharat didn't cast someone so perfect as Karna I wud have quit the show till now in fact now I skip all the episodes that has no Karna in it. If I watch fiction only den there are many other shows on tv .. its better to read more on Mahabharata .. different interpretation by scholars .. that enhance knowledge as well as give new perspectives .. this starbharat neither follow traditional epic nor give any critical insight or credible n plausible explanation

It is only Aham's performance as Karna that intrigues me in this FF of last epic written by Star n CVs

I should tell this, my book is far clear straight forward and easy to read through without the irritating unwanted descriptions like Slender waist, fairest complexion, Bull among men, Tiger among Kings, Son of him, Daughter of him etc 🤢

You knw what... first time i read tiger among men was for Karna...i used to think wow...they called him as tiger n all...later i realised it is used for so many n not specific to karna

But is feels bad that we are also in a way supporting this version for our personal likes 🤢.. I seriously want to see atleast Karna's portrayal without weird contradictions both within the show and wrt the epic.. I am not at all comfortable in seeing Karna having soft corner and open-respect for Arjuna.. I know he had respect but that was always expressed as jealousy and rivalry.. It would have been easier to digest had it been Yudi..

Exactly Riti.. I too initially got carried over by those.. 😆 but if everyone is given the same titles at times irrelevant to their person referring too am finding those to be a big disturbance to the flow.. 🤢.. Only son of Radha is unique to Karna 😆

yaah that kind of adjective was quite common I guess but the description of Karna written in Vyasa Mahabharata is out of the world. It makes you imagine how HANDSOME a man can be. How glorious, magnificent n splendid persona he was .. you won't think only about Karna's birth connection when you think son of Sun or Suryaputra any more .. you will feel it. it is defo irritating to read huge adjectives every time but those lines for him definitely creates an image in your mind n you fell for it immediately 😳
