Historically, Bakasura was more significant than is thought. His son Alambusha fought on the Kaurava side & was a counterbalance to Ghatotkacha, who finally killed him on day 14. Alambusha also killed Uloopi/Arjun's son Iravana.

After killing him, when the rakshashas he ruled panicked, Bhima spared them on condition that they gave up cannibalism.

Of course, this serial hates Bhima and has multiple o's over Gandeevdhareee Arjuna, which is why they happily deleted this incident. Hidimba they couldn't, or how else will they show Ghatotkacha taking Karna's shakti to save Arjun?

I recreated this thread to fix your poll, and add 2 options - the popular Starbharata, and one that I coined - Starjuna.

I'd vote for Star + arjuna

I'm asking Minakshi to move all your posts in that thread here. That way, you'll still look like the originator of this thread, since you posted it first.

Reading the translation in sacred texts I somehow got the impression that there were 2 Alambushas. The one who killed Iravan is mentioned as Rishyashringa's son at many places and is killed on the 14th day before Jayadrath was killed. The other Alambusha is killed on the 14th night along with Alayudha. Maybe I understood differently

Yeah, I too noticed references to Alambusha being killed twice. But the story is sometimes badly written and has inconsistencies b/w the places where it's written. For instance, Shikhandi's son Kshatradeva is in one place described as being slain by Duryodhan's Laxman, while in another place, by Drona.

But 'both' the Alambushas - if there were indeed 2 - were killed by Ghatotkacha

I would go with 'Starbhara't very appropriate name and as of now the way the stoy is going 'Draupadi - Arjun - Ek Prem Katha' seems apt as well.

creating such a mega budget show made the
cvs so hungry so they cooked bakasur and ate him.

but they real fact is they did not want to show another one episode which gives importance to bheem. they are happy to keep his image as a duffer and not as someone as strong and bold as gandivathri arjun

ya, arjuns the mahanayak superhero and hes d protagnist of this sp mb and othr brothers are in side role. so they will show arjun to be greater than bheem which is actually not real.
I think rename this show to Mahanayak Arjun.

I think they would have not skipped Baku if he too had a sister whom Bhima marries for them to show eye looks and romances which they are much interested in..
