But then their sasur bari will go from Kolkata to I think Karnasuvarna, which I think was the capital of Anga. That or Lakhanavati (today's Malda)

How many of you Bongs are from that area?

Anga was North Bengal - today's Malda to Sikkim, and bits of Bihar. So the languages he'd have to handle would mainly be Bengali, Nepali and maybe a bit of Maithili.

the east was divided into Anga Banga n kalinga .. bihaar, Bengal n odisha .. as per info Anga was situated nearby now Bhagalpur and it is said it was extended till north Bengal .. East Dinajpur and surroundings.

Kalinga was Orissa, but Anga & Banga were divided along latitude - Anga being north Bengal, Banga being south. See this map below from a thread posted a couple months ago - even if we accept Champa as the capital, it's right on the WB-Bihar border - see below.

I do stand corrected on 1 thing - it's not in the Darjeeling-Sikkim area. Although I thought Videha was Mithila. But from the map below, Anga is squarely in Bengal (today's WB & Bangaldesh)

of course the one who is brave like Arjuna, Dharam raaj like Yudhisthir, Chattaan singh like Bhima, soft hearted and beautiful like Nakul & Sahdev. I think alone Bhishma has all these qualities too. kahe ko cofuse kartey ho yaar jo hai woh bhi theek hi hai.

thanks a lot Vrish for such detail info .. I guess Vihaar was a part of Banga too then .. Bihaar state became a different state later .. so it could be like this but I guess the area near Bhagalpur was the center of his region .. as It was a neighbor country of Magadha what had patuliputra i.e. Patna now at its center

only malda and dinajpur from north bengal can be part of anga , anga but maximum part of eastern vihar is part of it even the map is saying same
pundra includes northern part of undivided bengal means maimansingh rajshahi rangpur and also jalpaigudi north dinajpur (coachbihar was part of kamta)
