@mahi, Arjuna's character in this version is very near to his portrayal in Ved Vyas's MB (which, I like to call original).

As much as I remember MB, it is Sanjay (Vyas provided him extra sensory abilities of sight and sound)

This is the first time that I am watching Shaheer on-screen...
Akdam sach janna chahti ho to mai yah bolubgi ki in the first couple episodes i.e. Rangabhoomi one, I felt that he was a bit rigid and maybe not into the character so much... I was missing the young Pandavas... I understood and accepted that it will take time to get into such a great character...
But, then he improved himself so much, it's actually astonishing...
I became a total fan after the Krishna-Milan episode... And I suppose that by now, all of you know how much in love I am with Brihannala right now!!! 😳
In fact ab to Arjun ka nam karne par sirf or sirf Shaheer ka hi yaad ata hai.. 😉
