It's same for Kauravas too. All abnormal births are for some purpose. All K & P including Draupadi were requested, asked by their respective parents.

Draupadi was born to reduce burden of sin from Earth.

I remember reading, when Babruvahan was asked what did he see in Kurukshetra's war. He said, Draupadi as Mahakali was drinking blood.

If you've noticed in each Yuga, fight between Asuras & Devas always continues. Starting from Sat Yuga, a powerful Asura is born, he creats imbalance in the World. to restore it, either Tridevas or Tridevis, takes different forms or are born. Shivji & Vishnuji's various forms, incarnations or Aadi Shakti's different forms, kills these Asuras. In Treta Yuga & Dwapar Yuga, Vishnuji's incarnations were in Human form. Fight between good & evil changes it's form. In Sat & Treta Yuga they were more clearly visible. In Dwapar Yuga, such tendancies started becoming part of Human tendancies. Human nature became more complex. So the war between good & evil tendancies was faught at a different level. Even Vishnuji had to be born as a Human, Krishna. Instead of killing evil just by using his Sudarshan Chakra, he allowed their Karma to yield results. The way of ending evil changes for different Yugas. Dwapar Yuga followed by Kaliyuga, the war still continues but in a different level.

Aah yes! I know this story.In bihaar during any puja related to vishnu, stories are recited in the temples.
When i was a kid, i used to attend them and my gran used to explain the stories to me in simple lang.
The story of NAR-NARAYAN vanquishing the demon in some previous life and him being born as Karna in the dwapar yug and nar-narayan killing him finaly and shakuni being dwapar himself.
duryodhan knowing that he is tha kali demon?and other demons born beside him to help him in the war against nar-naraya
