Today Gandari gave anology of mirror always pointing true flaws of the looker to help Dhrit understand that Praja's will in favour of Yudi reflects reality of his capability vis a vis Duryodhana. Given that Dhrit has never seen a mirror or himself in it the analogy was completely inappropriate and absurd. Dialogue writers really need to factor in the listner's understanding of the world when they write such fantastic speeches.😳 It was a total CRACK UP almost on par with Draupadi calling Duri "Aandha ka beta Aandha"😆

The dialogue was good...but not suitable for that scene and characters.

if both of them had looked in the mirror then they would have got damn scared of all the bad they dwell within themselves. Dhritrashtra was not blind he could see better then anyone who could see thru his ears and sixth sense but he made himself blind with his ambitions, his greed for Singhasan and power and Gandhari was not blind but she made herself blind by ignoring the needs of her blind husband who was more ambitious then blind. She ignored what his biggest enemy was doing to him leading him to the path where the end is a khai with fire ablazing. She ignored her ill mannered sons and the pide piper who was leading them towards the path of destruction. She gave full authority to her brother to kill her family.

She broke her own mirror with her mistakes hence, the Mahabharat.
