My questions -

1 ] What is your aim & dream to be?

I am reminded of Swami Vivekananda's quote "God didn't give me anything I wanted; yet he gave me all that I needed. My aim and dream would be - to be at peace with whatever life / fate give me. You know- like how Krishna describes a "sthithapragna " in Bhagavata Gita

2 ] Languages known by you

Fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil and Sanskrit.

Can understand Bengali and Kannada.

Would like to learn Gujarati and Marathi.

3 ] Describe 1 funny dream seen by You

Mahabharata- the serial becomes authentic...

4 ] What do you think for me means how my characterization in your mind ?

Actually I don't know whether you are a man or a woman- my guess is you are a man. I have seen you here in the MB forum, in the DkDM forum and even in the Buddha forum.

My impression of you is- you are very very enthusiastic and fun loving (judging by the number of GOTWs you undertake). You are very interested in mythology and scriptures. You are very outgoing and love being with friends.

Am I right?

5 ] What is differences in decisions taken by mind & heart ?

There will be no difference- when the heart is guided by the mind -and the mind is influenced by the heart. When the body ,mind and spirit are all aligned- then there can only be one decision.

Sorry if this sounded like a lecture. But actually the 13 chapter of BG describes this beautifully.

Best of luck 👍🏼

Thank you and the same to you too. God Bless.

Favourite character has kept changing.

When I was young and very optimistic, I too, like so many in this forum thought that Karna had indeed got a raw deal.

Now ,my favourite is Arjuna. No - not because of his stupendous archery skills or that he was the "hero" - but because how his character evolves over a period of time. From an earnest student, to a skilled warrior, from a confident leader to an utterly sunken man confronting his demons...No other character has so many emotions, so many complexities.

Varaali my questions for you:

1) I love South Indian food. Can you make me any South Indian food? (and then post it to me in England) 🤣🤣

Serious questions:

1) What is your signature dish? If you were hosting a dinner party what would you cook?

2) You live in Chennai, where is your favourite place to visit in Chennai?

3) Why would you like to learn Gujarati?

4) Who is your ishtadev?

5) If you could stop this Mahabharat from being broadcast, would you? (you wouldn't have the option of having a new version broadcast. This version or nothing).

Serious questions:

1) What is your signature dish? According to my family, these days, it has become Maggie 2- minute noodles.😆

If you were hosting a dinner party what would you cook? Cook??? I will call up the nearest HSBC - no ...not the bank ...but ...Hotel Saravana Bhavan Chain. Or better still take the guests there. Saves me the trouble of washing the dishes, you see...😆

2) You live in Chennai, where is your favourite place to visit in Chennai? The beach

3) Why would you like to learn Gujarati? Sounds sweet on the ears...Kem che...Su che...Dhokla...Farsan sound better...

4) Who is your ishtadev? Radhe -Krishna

5) If you could stop this Mahabharat from being broadcast, would you? (you wouldn't have the option of having a new version broadcast. This version or nothing). Let it go on . If there was no serial, there would be no forum...ANd all the fun is here ... So let the serial continue. We will get to see how much the CVs fertile imagination wrecks the epic.

Thanks for asking the questions and- more importantly- thanks for reading the answers.

🤣 We have a Sarvana Bhavan 10 mins walk from my house here in London. It's famous 🤣

I never realised people thought Gujarati was so soft, I suppose it's because I'm Gujarati, and my grandparents use a lot of slang which isn't as soft.

My Ishta Dev is also Lord Krishna (Another question for you: What would you say is your favourite Leela of Lord Krishna?)

As for Mahabharat, I too would keep it going. I owe my shraddha in God to people like Ramanand Sagar. They inspired me to learn more about God. If this serial inspires even one person, I will stop calling it rubbish 😆
